Let's find out once and for all if Club 20 wants our business or not. Perhaps we can get the largest group yet of Hooville posters to attend, and, if not satisfied, be very vocal about it. If satisfied, of course, we will open our wallets!!

The reality is though that we might fight over our favorite danes, tearing them away by their G-strings, tossing beverages in the face of our competition. But I think we can rise above that and act as a team. Could be fun! Bring protective clothing just in case! :)

My travel plans have been changed, so I'll be in NYC on the 16th and plan to attend. Time? 7PM, 8PM, 9PM...?

I know Cooper is not a late night guy, so I'd hate to miss saying hello to him.

I hope the place is open Sinday, someone who lives around the corner sent me info today that the FBI and NYC cops were all over the place this afternoon.

This isnt sounding good.

I hope Madison gets a copy of the Post on friday.

I think such an energetic approach to Club 20 might require some introductory pre-club nourishment. I’d suggest a 4:30 PM gathering at Dish (201 8th Ave. at 20th Street, 2 plus cross town blocks from the club). This would give us time meet, greet, eat and get to Club 20 before it ups the door charge at 7:00 PM.

For out-of-towners, Dish is a moderately priced Greek coffee shop on steroids in the heart of New York’s boy’s town. It will never get a star from any food critic, but it’s gay friendly and you’re guaranteed to spy some eyecandy (some of it also on steroids) dining there if not one or more well known working boys being feted by his mentor of the moment. In the interest of full disclosure, I state that I have absolutely no economic interest in Dish nor, to the best of my knowledge and belief, does anyone I know or am related to, although I doubt they would admit it if they did.

Hey Lucky,

Looking forward to it!! Do you think this will be sufficient protection? ;)

If I were to speculate, I'd say that the owner of the club is right and has a very good chance of winning. I still think he looks hot as hell - see the pic of him in the article in the above link!

RE: 20 Club owner to CRUSH CITY

Yes. Thanks ZZ.

As for Zherka's winning, I think not. I come from the old school that posits that if you win on the courthouse steps, you've actually lost - lost time, opportunity, focus if not legal fees. Best to avoid court altogether. I guess that's why I retired from commercial banking rather than hedge fund management (and have to parse out my escort dollars more judiciously).

RE: Club 20- November 16th Dinner

The group of guys who have traditionally gone to Club 20 on Sundays have tried several restaurants over time. Let me know if you want to come for dinner first and I will try to keep the count as to who is going to be there.

I think New York is headed back to the 1970's.

In the good years the city has gotten bloated with pensions and healthcare benefits for city workers who retired as young as their early 40's.

Now the financial industry in Manhattan is evaporating and tax revenues with it. The city won't cut retirement benefits cos the unions won't let it. They will just not hire any more police officers. Crime will go up, the subway will once again be surrendered to the thugs. And Disney will be forced to flee Times Square and the hookers and strip joints will reclaim it.

Sad and fun at the same time. Overall, I think it's sad. I'll be glad to see the back of Disney, but sad to see Central Park disintegrate again.

RE: Club 20- November 16th Dinner

Well I would like to thank Lucky and Cooper for arranging this get together. It was lots of fun. Dinner with seven others at the Olive Garden was wonderful. Then it was on to Club 20.

I had not been there since Gay Pride weekend in June so there were quite a few dancers that were new to me yesterday. One was a 23 year old college student named Justin whom I thought was just stunning. He did not have to go around pushing for lap dances as anytime he was standing around by himself a customer would come by and take him to the couch. I had two lap dances with him and hope to see him there again. He is gorgeous and a real sweetheart.

There were several other dancers who were nice and very goodlooking. Dakota and Tyson come to mind. I will have to put those two and few others on my "wish list" for next time.

Once again thanks to Cooper and Lucky and to the others who attended. I hope that we can do it again soon.

RE: Club 20- November 16th Dinner

Sounds like fun at the club - HOWEVER, please tell me it was a joke that 7 gay men in NYC had dinner at THE OLIVE GARDEN!?!?!? You've got to be joking - please.

NYC, one of the greatest restaurant towns in the world and 7 self-respecting gay men had dinner together at THE OLIVE GARDEN?

PLEASE tell me this is a new, funky restaurant on lower fifth avenue that happens to share the same name as the mid-western, Italian chain restaurant known for their unlimited bread sticks and cookie-cutter menu from Indiana to Nebraska?

PLEASE TELL ME IT ISN'T SO!!!

"Dinner with seven others at the Olive Garden was wonderful."

Rapaz, glad you had a fun night. It was good seeing you and watching you in action. You reminded me of someone right out of Evita.

The gathering at the Olive "Branch" Garden was a historic night. For it was the 1st time prominent members of this site extended their hands across the internet and joined forces with some distinguished members of muscleservice. Twinklovers breaking garlic bread with muscle worshipers. Good time had by all.

As for the 20C the Hoovillians ruled. More medium build dancers than the buffed/steroid type muscle guys. Muscleservice members were asking the question, "where's Trevor", while the Hoovillians were spreading their garlic breath all over the lap dance area.

Over 20 dancers, including a few new ones, entertained the men of the internet. It was a good ending to Lucky's visit in NYC.

As far as I could tell, Club 20 was happy to have our business. There were no pressure salesmen and I enjoyed Tyson a couple of times.

I was happy to get otgether with a fun group of nice guys...not a one named Ben!

OLIVE GARDEN

All the soup or salad you might want with your dinner.

Or at Lunch there is a Soup/Salad choice, and it is unlimited.

Can you beat that in these rough times?

Alas rentingdad, it was so: we were without the benefit of your expense account or Zagats guide. Actually the focus was on finding some place to eat that would allow 7 to 10 guys to walk 20 West 20th Street by the 7Pm time at which Club 20 double the door charge.

If you can find us another place that will serve dinner at 4:30 on a Sunday night for a large group (the exact number of which will be indeterminate) and is in walking distance of Club 20, let us know. We may do it again from time to time. And if you want to put it on your tab, I'm SURE we can get an invite out to you and your entourage.:-)

Gwhiz - sounds like a plan was in place and was followed - which is always a good thing.

Just a little friendly teasing from the balcony here - there's nothing wrong with unlimited salad and bread sticks! Although unlimited sticks of another kind is much more appealing!!

And mine was just a little kidding from the orchestra RD. Actually we were trying to save a bit on dinner so we'd have a bit more for the dancers. But I wasn't kidding about soliciting other suggestions with the same specifications. And b/t/w when will you back in attendance?
