The government is going to try once more minting $1 coins with the hope of getting rid of those paper $1 bills. Since tipping dancers is an important function and $5 tips seem a little steep to me, what will happen if we are forced to tip with coins?

I'm worried that there will be a lot of g-strings and underwear crashing to the floor.

Maybe they'll have to wear those little leather pouches that strap around the waist. Of course, I can forsee many accidents with coins spilling everywhere;imagine the fun!:7

I've heard discussions of his topic in the past, and the consensus was that the bar would come up with some sort of marker/casino chip type thing to take the place of the $1 paper, if it's ever discontinued and/or becomes unavailable.

The patrons would buy these tokens from the bar, use them to tip the dancers, then the dancers would sell them back to the bar. Likely, the patrons would pay a premium to the bar, and the dancers would have to redeem them at a loss.

Thomas Jefferson never had so much fun!

Or maybe we could get them to do a three dollar bill. I've heard that some people who tip strippers are queer as one! (Least I know I am)

CNN did a story a few weeks back about the US Mint increasing the production of $2 bills. And the story mentioned that one of the biggest businesses asking banks for $2 bills is strip clubs. Clubs are giving them out as change at the door in the hopes that customers will tip dancers $2 as opposed to $1.

Sounds good to me. I always thought a $1 tip was cheap - it won't even buy you a cup of coffee.
