For a bigguy that loves the Spotlight...where ya have to peel the hustlers off the walls...it must have been a shock to go to the G and see live ones! No wonder you didn't like it!!!

bigguyfrompasadena: You obviously didn't enjoy the Gaiety so I don't know why you attended. I am sure nobody pulled you in off the street. Many others obviously did enjoy the place and you should respect that. And how much anyone else paid for any of the dancers for how much money or time is really none of your concern. You should realize that puttiing down other people for tastes and activities that differ from yours is often interpreted as an immature and transparant attempt to bolster a weak and insecure ego.

Your remarks about Denise are gratuitously insulting. She happens to be a fine lady who has worked very hard maintaining and is still working hard trying to continue a business that many gay men, if not you, found enjoyable. Such demeaning remarks about a person you do not know can only reflect back on you as being a rather mean-spirited individual. I am sure that is not true, and prefer to think they were made in a moment of poor judgement and are now regretted.

After observing your drooling ad nauseum posts in the So. American site perhaps you could be a bit more accepting of folks whose taste did not swing in such a Latin direction; or perhaps not...

 

I personally don't object terribly to your Looney Tune behavior but would appreciate your zipping the lip when a quality Disney short is on view.

BG I agree with you to each his own. The Gaiety-type is not for everyone. Some prefer the crack/crystal-meth street trade cruising SMB willing to do anything to anyone for just enough money for their next fix. Anyone into that … well, the Gaiety wouldn’t be for them. Gaiety dancers are a little more clean-cut/wholesome. While some Gaiety dancers might be chemically friendly/dependent, most were sober enough not to be taken advantage.

I cannot recall a single Friday or Saturday evening when I went to the Gaiety and there was not at least one Canadian dancer in the line up … most times several Canadians… many times the majority of the dancers where from Canada … and I think I can recall maybe once or twice when the entire lineup was Canadian. The vast majority of the Canadian dancers danced or used to dance in Montreal. It was from the Montreal-based dancers at the Gaiety that I first found out about that wonderful city. I find it strange that you love the Montreal Clubs, but hate the Gaiety. Now the Montreal Clubs certainly are cheaper, and more liberal in what you can do in the club; however, I would say that the vast majority of the guys who danced at the Gaiety would fit in nicely in the Montreal clubs. Additionally, you quoted a price of $250 for a 40-minute secession in a previous post…I thought you were never interested? Or to quote you was that just “a pathetic little rumor” tisk tisk.

It seems that some individuals on this site think that if someone is old – their opinions and perhaps their rights should be disregarded and are worthless. The same applies if the person is fat or ugly. You read comments that so and so is fat, ugly, and old. I would have hoped that someone whose name is “Big Guy” would be a little more sensitive.

I find it funny that so many people like to trash Denise. I don’t know her personally. My only interaction with her was handing her my money, and calling her up to find out what the lineup was (prior to Cooper et al posting the lineups on this site). She was not a hostess, she was not a mistress of ceremonies, she was the manager, and for years she managed the club effectively. Now I love strippers, but they are not the most reliable, many are airheads, and some are chemically challenged – you need a drill sergeant to keep them in line. Say what you want about Denise, but she always provided a great show.

 

Finally, If you did not like the Gaiety … if it was not your cup of tea that’s okay … different strokes for different folks … what I cannot understand is the hostility and anger ... unless… the Gaiety dancers made good money … those dancing the ten-day stretch could easily make 10-15 thousand if not more …they could be choosy and some would decline prospective clients if they did not like them (or were repulsed) … oh poor bitter BG did some hunky Gaiety dancer refuse to put you on his dance card?

I wouldnt fuel his anti gaiety fire. Although your points are most likely correct this guy has nothing to do but insult and bash the gaiety customers, club and dancers.

 

I suspect if the G does ever reopen BG appears opening night in his sanatation uniform and sits front row as usual and create's a new screen name oh Hoo Boy. (if he doesnt have 5 already) (oh, and doesnt tip any dancers)

 

Remember the looser bullys in high school?

If you just ignore them they go away back into there little sad cocoon's......

Ok Fisher,sorry I had to slap you when I refused to relinquish "your"seat.I can see it did permanent damage.

And,no,I was never "refused"service by any of your darling lil monkeys.

And most of the fellas from Montreal were from the Stock-If you want to do a search on my reactions to most of the Greasy Monkies and Rip offs at the Stock feel free.

BTW,you can carry on this nonsence-I will not visit this thread again.The Gaity is GONE-ancient history by New York standards-so I am following my own advice and moving on!So play on.

And Taz-I do hope you are being a good little boy and breathlessly running to Dour Denise all the scuttlebut

Today the "BG" is bashing a LA escort in the deli over $50 bucks......

 

Its good to see hes not just a NY basher. I think he just hates everyone, maybe he will upgrade to worldwide and his visa will be revoked somewhere that there is no internet connection.
