ok guys, here is my report. we were there ( at Stock) with my friend I met here on this forum yesterday. the place was FULLED ( they say it's usual for fridays, have no idea because i'm visiting stock on saturdays) that who was afraid of friendly warm atmosphere of touching, hugging and kissing the dancers in the bar can relax - everything is at the same level, there were lot of friendly huggung, warm touching and hot kissing all over the place;) some new guys appeared - they say from Taboo. as for back room - my friend took one dancer there and returned very quickly. when i asked WHY - he replied that ALL THE BOOTHS WITH CURTAINS were occupied!!! wow!!! i beleive customers enjoys new rools!!:9 or jyst trying the things out - what can happen under the closed curtain. i guess we'll go there today as well and if my friend will be able to get one booth with curtain, he will give you fully report when he'll be back home

I heard a rumor from some one that the strip clubs will be doing away

with the 10.00 lap dances and just chargeing 20.00. Well yours truly

decided to call Campus and Stock to get to the bottom of this , according to the management both clubs will still have 10.00 lap

dances but of course there will also be 20.00 lap dances for those

that want more. I was also wondering how people like the new rules

has it stoped you from doing lap dances? I love to hear what others

think.

Well the NEW rules are sure a mixed bag. I called it an early night last night, since I had an overnight with Escort Ong.(Great guy, Awesome kisser, review in a few days).

 

I was at both Campus and Stock from about 4:30 until 8pm. Stock was deserted when I was there (6:30-8pm)and I got a lot of attention especially after I bought a few of the guys a drink. Had 4 boys all giving me attention, a first for me there.

 

At Campus all the booths on the right now have Plywood doors and partitions with push bolt locks (can't be unlocked from outside). Even in those booths I was told $10 per dance but it goes to $20 per song if certain things happen. Some guys are doing for $10 what someone else want $20 for, a real mixed bag. One guy was doing $10 dances hard with light touching, and started hitting my face with his hard cock. Then said for $100 total (we had done 3 $10 dances at this point) I could suck him and he came. Another wanted to charge $20 per dance and he couldn't even get hard. Be careful you might have switched to $20 dances and not even know it.

 

At Stock there are curtains in about half the booths that hook from the inside on each side. Can't be unhooked from outside. Once in the back the guy was very up front with me about what could happen. $10 per song no touching. $20 per song I could touch anywhere. He also said Privates Could also take place there but you have to keep the noise down so no one would know and a $10 song minimum is required.

 

Just like a private with any dancer make sure you know what you will get for your $. Gonna' take a nap and see how tonight goes.

TY, unfortunately I am only here until Sunday. Sorry I'll miss you guys, hope you guys can find most of your Taboo guys. They seem to be spread from Campus to Stock to L'Adonis. Several of the Taboo guys are at Campus in the afternoon and seem to hang in a small group at the bar not moving through the crowd much.

 

There are some confusion on the NEW rules. A few dancers told me all dances are $10. One in particular noted the closed booths are a lot more fun and still ONLY $10 and seemed confused about the $20 requests. I had learned in the past some dancers don't count songs well. I would ask after 2 or 3 dances how many dances had passed. Now I have learned to also ask how much in addition. Example, after 3 dances with a guy I asked how many, he said 3 (which was correct), then I asked how much and he replied $50. 1st song was $10 but the was hard on the 2nd and 3rd songs and I had touched him when he pushed his cock at me. So song 2 and 3 were $20. He then offered to let me suck him until he came for $200. I told him I'd give him $200 if he sucked me he and I could care less if HE came. Then he started studdering on what to do. He wanted more dances from me so he got a little more on the giving end but not exactly what I had proposed to him.

 

After a couple of early afternoon hours at Campus I went to Stock. Stock is still very empty in the afternoon but one of the sexiest guys, Ricardo (Body and nipples to die for) was there and we had a real good time. While there I got a call on my cell from a regular Dancer I have seen on my last 5 trips to Montreal. I had tried to contact him earlier. After talking he decided to call off on Dancing at Campus last night and just to meet at my hotel. Now that was alot more FUN than the overpriced roll of the dice, take your chances in the Booths.

 

Here is my Dancer friends take on the changes.

 

First, by law ALL dances are still offically $10 but with the more private booths any deal between the Dancer and patron is private. By law there is still to be no touching of Butt and genitals. But in private who knows?

 

Second, He said 3/4 of all the Dancers are straight and they don't like the new arrangements. They feel they will have to do more in a private or they will not make any money because the Gay dancers are being very friendly with the new rules and doing well money wise. In the past the Str8 guys just used the no touching rule to get a patron to NOT TOUCH. Now with others letting touching and more for $20, what choice do they have if they are to make money.

 

Third, He said Blu is licensed as a "Lounge" not a Strip Club and therefore has different rules. That's why you will see Drag shows and maybe a few female dancers. Also Dancers completely strip in one set not 2 as at other clubs. Also, they thought techno music might bring in more of a crowd. He said he knew the owner. The problem with Blu is the one large room is too open and not broke up well. You could put a lot of people in there and it still would seem empty. Plus they don't have the best dancers.

 

After his comments I realized on all my privates in the booths the dancers were very big on asking me NOT to tell ANYONE what we had done in the booth especially the other dancers. One guy made 3 trips to me after the dance to ask me again not to tell anyone.

 

I did make it back out to around 11pm after my regular left my room. Stock was packed, Blu was dead and horrible, L'Adonis seemed to be the new late night twink place and Campus had 25 dancers and is more fun in the early evening than late at night.

 

Well it looks like things have really changed here and the Dancers are trying to adjust just like the Patrons.

 

The negatives: things just got a lot more expensive and the Dancers who had trouble counting correctly in the past are also going to charge you $20 dances before you know it. Also, I now have to pay $20 per song at Campus for what I use to have to $10 for. My past Campus experiences had a lot of touching and borderline sex foreplay now it just cost more and NO ONE has asked to come to my hotel (except my regular guy) where in the past I had multiple offers, I never had to ask.

 

The positives: If you are willing to pay you should have a good time. I've always found the Stock guys the most attractive but very limited in their private dances. Now at $20 per song you can have cum on your face before you know it, with some very sexy men.

 

I am glad I had made arrangements for a non-Dancer Escort and that my regular guy returned my call or I would not have had any hotel company this trip. Also, with the changes I've spent way more $ than I normally do. In fact got to find an ATM to fund today's ativities.

I actually always stay at the Springhill Suites in Olde Montreal ($6 cab ride to the village or actually a nice 15/20 minute walk) and they now have FREE internet access in each room.

Maybe you could furnish a little more information on this hotel and its cost per night. As you know, many members of this Board visit Montreal and might be interested in staying at a decent hotel outside of the village. The Gouverneurs, where many people from this Board stay, has deteriorated since I first began staying there six years ago. This includes both the restaurant and the personnel. Ugh! It is, however, convenient to the Village.

Actually, the downsides you describe are actually all my fears of the new system come true.

I myself stay at the Dorion Hotel which is above Taboos

its clean plus rooms go from 60 - 90 Can Its a good deal and

I have never had any problems there, they also searve a nice

breakfeast on Saterdays and Sundays,Plus Dorion has short term

rooms if you do not want to mess up your hotel room.

I will definitely establish ground rules with each dancer before we go in. ANd require that each song be acknowledged when it is finished. None of this after-the-fact assessments.

This is what I expected as I didn't think the town authorities would codify strip club sex activities in the local ordinances.

This is what I anticipated the fallout to be wrt cost and value and fewer offers for hotel privates . Thus the need for a priori ground rules which will be simple. Only $10 dances please, and if they don't captivate my interest then I will move on quickly. I rely on hotel action primarily with club action only as appetizers. The old $10 atmosphere was just fine with me and if we can recapture that then fine. Of course rules are made to be broken on occasion, when I find a hot appetizer that begs to be tasted. }(

KY, thanks for the update. This is exactly how I feared this would play out. I guess I need to get back there and try out the new rules for myself. I liked the old $10 dances, and I almost always got a dancer with a hard-on who allowed touching and more. It feels like the end of an era.

 

And its none of my business, but I am very curious as to who your regular dancer is who passed on a night at Campus in favor for a night with KY. It is a much better deal for a dancer to spend a copuple of hours with a good regular client, than working a six hour shift for about the same or less m oney. I have a regular dancer who likes to do the same thing, but I wonder if we are seeing the same dancer. Maybe, maybe not.
