Montreal July 4th Update

Taboo was nice. There were seveal of the older boys who have been at Taboo dancing for a while that were there. Damian was in fine form, the really hot kid from Germany as well as several others. The atmoshphere was nice, not quite as able to do as much in the back rooms as before.

 

Stock was fantastic. Tons of the older Taboo dancers are now there. There were several hot boys there and even at 2am the place was packed.

 

I haven't had a chance to see the other bars yet but will.

 

BTW: Ryan, aks TwinkEscort.com was at Taboo in a nice looking outfit and looked incredibly hot.

Mickey was dancing at Stock two weeks ago. I went into the back with him and the lap dance was even better than it was at Taboo.

 

Last night, I danced with this guy who use to work at Taboo called Maximo and he is now at Stock. He goes by another name now. His dance was good too.

 

Tonight, is suppose to be a great night at Taboo as several dancers came in and said they would be dancing over the weekend.

 

I did notice one boy who had left Taboo during all the trial stuff, is back and he said, he was happy to be back at Taboo.

 

Although Stock was great last night, it still does not compare to Taboo if you like boys. Stock was full of a quite a few straight georgous guys who knew how to move on stage. There were a few twinker boys around but they seem to mix in well with the group.

 

Not that it is important: The drinks at Taboo are better than Stock. Last night everything at Stock seemed watered down.

The back... well it was fun, but certainly the boys are more frustrated than in the past, as they are constanly being told that they are crossing some line.

The second night was much of the same. The atmosphere really did revert this weekend back to the Taboo of old. It was great to see what that did for the spirit of the dancers!

Enjoyed Stock. Campus not as much. I finally got to meet the mythical Jimmy of Stock. What a HOT boy. And very nice too, it turns out. Just got home from Montreal and I am worn out. It was a real privilege to meet Marc Anthony and Tampa Yankee plus CTguy was also there last night. Can't leave out Ryan and Bobby Thompson, great young men and not just to look at.

 

I usually spent most of my time at Campus, but other than spending time with one of the regular Campus guys (Sly) that I see each visit, I decided to spend more time at Taboo this time around, to show support with the Bad luck the place has had. It was really hopping both Friday and Saturday nights and the dancers really seemed to like the attention they were getting from the HooBoy M4M contingent. The Taboo Dancers when giving Dances would get a little irritated and say choice words through gritted teeth when reminded by the Doormen of "Rule" violations. With the guys I spent time with it never took too long before the doormen was reminding them of something. Still had a great time.

I made this suggestion in the Lounge, but maybe it's worth repeating here. Wouldn't it be fun for a group of m4mers who enjoy Taboo to get together in Montreal, rent a hotel suite (as well as have individual rooms in the hotel) and arrange for a nice buffet and a dozen or so of our favorite dancers from Taboo to be present? Boys and men could mingle, snack and drink, boys could put on a strip show, and then boys could mingle in the buff as guests cuddled and petted with no monitors clucking around? Trips to individual rooms could be arranged as boys and guests wanted? To me, it sounds like a lot of fun. Would anyone else be interested?

In principle, this is a great idea. The problem is that in order to do this, the following things would have to happen...

 

1) Your favorite, cutest escorts would have to be willing to do privates, potentially with multiple clients. I know for a fact that some of the cutest would balk at that idea.

 

2) You would have to take away 12 of the prime dancers from a working night at Taboo, leaving the club holding the bag for the night... probably not good given the problems they are having now.

 

I guess when all is said and done, I think I enjoyed my weekend enough that I would not think it would have to be "messed" with too much. Sitting with the M4M'ers in the club was GREAT fun (Totally Oz, Tampa Yankee, Boston Guy, Kentucky Top, and CTguy). The boys at Taboo were lots of fun, and the environment, in the front at least, had the energy of the Taboo of old.

 

I heard through the grapevine that the new owners of the building are planning to keep Taboo open, pending the result of the September trial, and upgrade to a $10 license, complete with a newly partitioned back room.

 

If in fact that happens, I think Taboo will be completely back in its old glory!

Count me in Karl! On its face it sounds like a great idea. Marc brought up a good point about it leaving Taboo high and dry to some extent. So we can spread the wealth a little, take a few dancers from each club! hehe

 

My choices:

1) Campus -- Bill (adoreable Abercrombie-type boy), Bastian (cute short twink), and Phillipe (semi-twink with a French Canadian accent that makes me melt!)

Anthony formerly of Taboo looked very good at Stock. Guillaime from Taboo goes by Danny at Stock, because there is a long time dancer at Stock name Guiallaime at Stock with beautiful blue-green eyes (he is the mystery eyes on the front of the Stock webpage).

 

But if I had to pick my favorites from Stock (that I saw this weekend), I would pick JIMMY (nicer in person than in pics, and that says a lot), Criss (from old Taboo), and Gabriel (the new mop-headed toned cutie who was Maxim at Taboo).

What a fabulous time I had in Montral this past weekend. Tampa Yankee and Marc Anthony are always great company. Plus, they always have boys lined up for entertainment. It was so great to hang out with each of you and Ryan from NYC and Bobby Thompson from LA over the weekend. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my July 4th weekend.

 

I have spent years in the strip clubs in Montreal. However, after hooking up with these two classy gentlemen, the good times just got better. Not only are they men of class, they make the weekend even better each time we meet up there.

 

A few notes:

 

Taboo is the most accomodating club in Montreal. There were 3 clubs that ran out of Malibu on Saturday (often our drink of choice). The management of Taboo upon hearing this made a special trip on Sunday morning to get more bottles of that for our group. It was a simple but very nice gesture that shows that the management does take care of the customers.

 

The back room at Taboo is not the same as before. Therefore, I didn't go back as much. However, I did tip the dancers on stage. I think each night at the bar, I spent at least $600 CD on tips and drinks. That may sound like a lot to some, but most of that went to tip the boys that I knew from Taboo previously. Many even made the remark that they were able to keep dancing due to the fact that several of us go up there regularly and do the same thing. The boys work very hard on stage to provide a good show but the boys at Taboo make for such a wonderful atmosphere that I can't imagine not helping out when they are in need and honestly, since the raid, they are. The boys need the money now more than ever and I plan on other trips up there this summer just for that.

 

I have been to Montreal with my bf many times. We always have fun. If you get a chance to meet up with a few other guys from this board, I assure you that you will have even more fun. Tampa Yankee, Marc Anthony and I have done this a few times and I find it the best times I have had in Montreal. On this trip we were able to meet up with KYTop, CTGuy and a few other posters from this board. We all have similar interests and it is fun to sit around a table and have a drink or two to discuss the boys.

Agreed. It is more fun with good company. I would add to that that I have enjoyed being there with a boy or 2. Everyone has fun at Montreal... and to see the wide-eyed look of amazement from cute American escort boys ads to the fun. Malibu is a type of rum made of ouf Coconut juice. It is delicious and it is all the boys I bring up to Canada drink. Everytime we go there, they run out of the rum. Malibu is great with Pineapple juice or sprite.

Aren't most of the bars quieter on Mon, Tues, Wed with smaller contingents of dancers? And with Taboo dancers scattered all over the street, it should be possible to get Tommy and Francis (at least) from Adonis, two or three from Campus, two or three from Stock, and the others from Taboo. Nice suggestion about holding it in a B&B. Don't a couple of them have roof terraces which could be used for a private party?
