A wise choice, I think. Frankly, I've been so bored and annoyed by the amount of attention that Ethan is once again sucking to himself that for the first time I have to ask myself twice whether I want to log on. (The answer is, always, "yes.") What makes me more frustrated still is the fact that so many people respond to him that it diverts them from posting on threads that others -- I, for one -- might actually want to read. As it is, I skip every single thread initiated by Ethan; and if I open one to see that he has anschlussed it, too, I simply stop reading. I don't think it's good for the liveliness of the site for one person to become so pathologically dominant.

 

This remark, by the way, is not intended to start a debate. I know full well that (a) this is just my opinion and (b) that other people enjoy Ethan's presence. A full accounting -- full in every sense of the word, as you propose -- is surely the best way to handle the matter.

what purpose does moderating me have other than annoying me? it doesn't protect your site because i haven't violated any rules. what purpose does not allowing me access to the escorts only section serve other than to annoy me? it would be really interesting if you could answer those two questions.

Frankly, Ethan, I think HooBoy has acted with prudence throughout this ugly episode.

 

The simple fact is that we HAVE in the past needed to delete some of your posts because you typically react rudely, with hostility and anger. You post things in the heat of the moment which should not be posted to prove that you are right whether they have relevance or not. You are, in other words, a loose canon.

 

The Message Center Rules came about largely because of your last flameout.

 

You've been given the opportunity to post all correspondence within a certain time period but you refuse to do so. Is it because it proves that HooBoy was correct in his actions?

 

As for the Escorts-only section, I do not know whether you do or do not have access. I would suspect you do not, for the same reasons listed above. That section was closed for a period (and these forums became moderated) partly because an escort with a far better track record than yours melted down and posted information from the private forum here in public. Heck, just talking about its existence or referring to the conversations that happen there is a form of violation of confidence. This does not engender trust.

 

Like it or not (and we all know which way that will go), you ARE viewed as a loose canon. YOU and ONLY YOU can turn that impression around.

1) i don't still have all the emails. hoo said he'd "bust" me (whatever that means) if i didn't post them all. so, i can't do it.

 

2) i have given him permission to post anything & everything he has ever gotten from me. i don't take orders from him or anyone else. if he wants it posted, he can do it himself.

 

3) he moderated me BEFORE i sent him a single email. therefore, he CANNOT have been reacting to my emails when he moderated me!
