"Yes, I know. I promised to find my very own cyber-Saint Helena & banish myself. I'm actually still leaning that way. In speaking with some people privately, it has been brought to my attention that there may be some members of the board community who might be sorry to see me go. It seems SOME misguided individuals enjoy my postings--even those with which they disagree--and appreciate my contributions (which often present the "other side" of the proverbial story).

This brings me--finally (hey! longwinded isn't necessarily a bad thing!)--to the point of this post. I'm initiating a poll. Should I stay & contribute, or should I leave permanently? EVERYONE is welcome to weigh in. NOONE will be contacted (by me) privately. There will be NO negative consequences to voting either way.

 

PLEASE, only vote by replying to this post. The choices are: 1) STAY and 2)LEAVE. Anything equivocal or "I really don't care" will NOT be counted in the tally. If you say "Stay, but change" or "Leave, but think about returning" ONLY the stay or leave part will count. Each person gets one vote; everyone's valid vote (stay/go) counts. I however, will not be voting.

 

I have no preset expiration for the poll. It will end when the thread gets buried in the dustbin for lack of new messages.

Could we have a poll on whether he keeps cluttering up the message board with threads on how unfairly he has been treated by HooBoy? And with threads on whether he should stay or go, of which this is the second or third one? I am a little tired of coming to this board and seeing that the first five threads are all written by DCboy and are all about himself.

I usually don't. But if you had a brain in your head instead of a pound of mattress ticking you would realize that when one opens the Lounge there is no way to tell what the latest threads are without reading their titles and summaries. I am tired of having to read through a bunch of titles of threads that were created by you and are all about you and your problems with Hooboy. From the comments I have seen I can tell that I am far from the only one who feels this way.
