I know the physical answer to that question, and I hope you're having a good time in Thailand. My question is where are you in cyberspace?

Over the last 3 weeks, I sent in my initial review, then sent in a resubmittal when I got no confirmation for the first. Then I sent you an email at hooboy at male4maleescorts dot com when I heard no word on the second submission. Then last Friday I sent you a followup since I got no response from the first email. And, well, no response so far.

It's an understatement to say this has gotten pretty frustrating. I honestly believe I am following all the instructions, but if I'm not, I need some kind of guidance here. Sending any more missives off into the void seems a little pointless.

I've had a similar experience as well. Submitted a review, and after 30 days, sent a polite inquiry. With no response I figured he was travelling and had no internet access. After my 2nd or 3rd inquiry regarding the review I submitted, I just assumed he's swamped and will get it when he can. He doesn't need his email box full of review inquiries I'm sure.

Hi, here is how the SUBMIT A REVIEW works. You put your email address in yourself and the email address YOU type in is the one that our server sends to me within seconds.

Your email address is NOT generated by your email program, it is running on my servers. If you input an email address that is not exactly perfect, I do not get your email and you do not hear back from me.

AOL users many times forget to put @aol.com and only use their AOL handles because AOL is set up that way for their users and many times their members simply forget that AOL and the real INTERNET are almost two different worlds. Other times, it could be caused by a simple typo.

Please remember that if you do not get a confirmation back from me within 24 hours (48 at the max if I am unavailable) I do not have your review and you must resubmit it.

So, before you hit the final SUBMIT, double check that the email address you input is absolutely correct. It is like dialing a phone. If you are one number off, you do not reach your desired party.

Another suggestion I have is to copy the EXPERIENCE part of your review before you sent it to me and save that with notepad, Microsoft Word or similar program so if you do have to resubmit, you will not have to completely retype the bulk of your review.

Do not try to copy your text and send it to me, because my filing system will not accept it. Also remember to follow the instructions in the confirmation message. The subject line must be the same because the reviews are shunted to their proper "filing cabinet" on my end and will pop up when your review is being prepared for publication or verification.

It does not matter where in the world I am, I still get your reviews almost immediately after your send them (assuming we are not having server problems, and that is extremely rare due to the constant monitoring that Daddy does on all my servers.)

Other reasons you may not hear from me are covered in the M4M FAQ, I think. IF your review is mean spirited or other reasons dealing with phony submissions, I simply discard them with no comment. But those are far and few between and the people who try that sort of thing arew not really the type who would care if I respond.

Also, many times your email box is full (like with hotmail accounts) and hotmail bounces it back to me as a bad email address. If your mailbox is at the maximum of what your service provider alots to you, there is no way I can contact you.

Finally, if you have a SPAM folder, check it. AOL has male4malescorts.com on their naughty list because "they are looking after your best interest", including monitoring the contents of your email. I have an AOL email account and I have done extensive testing using it and found that in many cases just the name HooBoy will sometime go directly to the spam folder.

I read all email I get. Most times it takes up to four hours each day.

I sympathize with your frustration and I hope this explanation will help you not become frustrated.

HooBoy

PS: I edited this after reading it because of typos I made. It can happen to us all. :-)

Hoo--

Sorry to make you retype most of what's in the FAQ. I know 'cause I've read it several times to make sure I'm doing things right.

I'm not an AOL user, my mailbox isn't full, and I've checked my spam folder. I have received mail from @male4maleescorts.com successfully before.

Note: This is for a 12/04 appointment. When I first submitted on 1/29/05 it was at the high end of the "statute of limitations" as deej once called it. Now, of course, it'll be even later. Is there an automatic reject based on that data?

I've spent most of my career as an editor and proofreader. I point this out not to claim that I don't make mistakes, but rather the opposite. It's humbling to realize how many different ways the human brain can screw things up. But I do check my writing very carefully, especially when I redo something that had a problem first time out. That's part of why this is frustrating.

I'll try it one more time. Luckily, having read and followed the instructions, I do have the narrative experience saved.

Here's hoping.

OK ... Submitted for your approval ... Dustin Jackson, Orlando. (Cue Twilight Zone music)

I noticed and changed a minor detail. Will a review get rejected if a "required" field is not filled in? Since this is a first review, I've always left the "WHO have you reviewed?" field empty. This time I saw it was required, so put in N/A.

Packy,

Well, the bad news is now, several hours later, I have not received your review.

As soon as possible, please email me as much as you saved. In your email, please include which operating system you are using and (not here in the Message Center but in the email to me) please include your phone number and the best times to reach you in the event Daddy needs to ask you questions.

I am simply a schlub from Texas, so I am going to pass this along to Daddy, The Wizard Of Hoo and we will resolve this issue.

I appreciate your patience and apologize for extra time this is taking.

A suggestion for all involved, since this has come up before. Why not copy the submitter on the email that is being generated to Hoo? That way, they know that they entered the right email, and if there is a snafoo, they could always forward the copy they received.

Just a thought

Oh mercy!

I just did a search in my zone alarm junk mail folder. I use (review) from the subject line as the filter for reviews.

I am embarrassed to say how many I found.

You all should be hearing from me within minutes and if you do not and have submitted something to me, please email me.

Now my dilemma is what to do with the zone alarm junker. If I disable it, I will spend literally hours each day deleted viagra, pussy, Christian and financial spam.

Thank you all for your assistance in helping me locate the culprit. As usual, it is BCC....between the computer and the chair....unfortunately, it was my computer and my chair.

I have reconfigured Zone Alarm but I will check it daily.

Thanks Daddy, but I don't want to make too many changes at once. It could screw up the historical files I have. I think the fixes made and adjustments I made in Zone Alarm will make it work. In any case, I know to check in that folder each day as well.

As for CCing the person who submits the review, I suppose he would get confirmation that his review went through, but he gets that from me within 24 hours anyway.

For folks who are interested, if you have a question about or want to submit a picture of an escort, make sure his NAME/CITY in the subject line. And please do a little legwork for us. If his name is Chris, we have scads of them. Chris #12 will get your issue resolved much faster. You can also right click on their reviews and find their exact listing. That is even faster.

When the reviews are being posted to be published, a search is made on his name to see if there are more reviews, information, corrections or photos that need to go up.

If you just write: "here is a photo of a review I just submitted"in the subject line, it won't pop up on the search.

Finally, please always put something descriptive in the subject line. URGENT ESCORT NAME/CITY will get my attention faster than nothing at all.

The more you help us, the faster we can help you.

Thanks to all!
