SEX SHOWS - LIKE AT WHY NOT & ELSEWHERE

I'm going on an extended vacation through Europe--London, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, some other places. Thinking Eastern Europe too.

 

Would love advice on where there are some hot male sex shows. Heard Why Not can be really fun. Love young escorts, but there's something about it in public that really turns me on.

 

Any advice - would be greatly appreciated. What are the best, most fun places - with best and "friendliest" boys?

I'm afraid the sex shows at the Why Not in Amsterdam are usually pretty pathetic.

 

If you want a sex show then just hire 2 or 3 boys for an hour and have them do whatever you want - it's more expensive but a *lot* more fun.

I've seen the show at Why Not twice - both times disappointing, although the second time was better. It was mostly simulated sex rather than real - and the first time, I could hear the manager out in the hall yelling that he had 2 bottoms. (They tried to use some tourist kid from the downstairs bar who made macho claims but apparently he couldn't get it up on cue for the audition.)

To agree with everyone so far, I found the sex shows at WHY NOT to be pathetic, and as I once wrote, like bing stuck in a girl cheerleaders' locker room. It is simulated, and quite boring.

 

This is unfortunate because years ago it was hotter and better (but then too, most of their boys were also hotter and more butch).

 

The other boy sex clubs in Amsterdam seem to have closed down (or are not worth the time). One gets a bigger bang for the buck in the gay saunas!

 

I also think in some countries you would do better hiring two or three escorts and watch the show (and jump in when you feel up to it).

 

Too bad there are no clubs (that I know of) which provide a kind of staged "wank show" as now displayed on the Wim Hof website every now and then. Now that would be worth paying to watch!

well at this point it's beating a dead horse, but i agree with the other posts. the first one i saw, i'm guessing about 6 years ago, was actually really good. i'm been to about 4 since then and they were all disappointing. but, i did a post after my last trip, november of 2000, about how the quality of the boys at why not had dropped so maybe they're related. but, it's been almost a year and maybe the owner has gotten their act together since then. also, the straight sex shows i saw there were also pathetic, so maybe it was something in the union contract :-).

To add my two cents, the Why Not, which used to be mildly interesting, might as well be called the Why Bother? It is not worth the money, and many of the "boys" are not worth it either. I suspect, however, that you were really hoping to find information here about similar shows in other cities, and I'm afraid the fact that none of the sophisticated travellers who have posted here have said anything about that indicates that there probably is nothing similar in other European cities. I've heard rumors of sex shows in Prague, but nothing that can be confirmed.

At the present time, the sex shows of Thailand are but a memory. This summer new Prime Minister Thaksin introduced a crackdown on the sex industry in Thailand (shortly after he was cleared of corruption charges). Most bars with adult entertainment - straight and gay - were shut down for a short while. When the gogo bars reopened, the guys were required to wear street clothes. I understand that in most of the bars the guys are back dancing in their underwear, but the famous f**k shows are gone for now. All bars and discos are now required to obey the official closing time of 2am, so now everybody goes to bed earlier and it is a bit harder to find good street vendor Thai food when you have that late night craving. Things have a way of changing in Thailand, but the changes appear to be in place for the short term.:-(

As a regular at the Whynot (most weekends)I can say that the shows in fact are cancelled most of the time nowdays.They advertise GoGo shows, Live Sex Shows and a Striptease show every Friday and Saturday.

I can tell you all that the GoGo shows, which were on the bar downstairs, have not taken place for at least 6 months.

These are supposed to be followed at 8 pm by the Live Sex Show upstairs(charged for) but that is usualy cancelled at short notice with some lame excuse(last week the boy was "sick").

Finally the strip show which was later on just doesnt happen anymore.

I have overheard that its all because the boys dont want to do the shows.

The 21 also advertises shows but there havent been any there for at least 5 years!!

Its a pity they cant be had on the Trades Description Act that we have in the UK!

Prague has shows advertised at the William Higgins place but they are crap if they happen at all.

There are constant shows at the Escape and all they boys are available.The shows are non stop but fairly tame.

Thats the best place Ive been to recently.

As mentioned above, Thailand is the place! It is not uncommon to have three or four couples on stage (and swinging from the rafters) fucking in every conceivable (and some inconceivable) positions. It really is something to see, and only costs the price of a drink (the equivalent of around $4.50).

My last trip to WHY NOT was a few months ago and will probably be my LAST for other reasons.

 

A few years ago the place was lively, interesting, and the boys working there quite professional.

 

IN the last 18-24 months, however, the place has become seedy and spacy. As one guy mentioned above, the shows are generally cancelled. I am not at all thrilled by the guys working there either, finding most effeminate in the extreme. I had the Thai massage with a guy whom I had met on previous occasions - a complete rip off in money. The guy himself had turned into a girl in every way, preening, posturing, pouting (and he had shaved every nice hair he used to have on his body). Next he'll probably begin breast implants!!!

 

There are exceptions, of course. BUT in general, the place has sunk and the owner does not seem to care (heck, I suppose he has enough to keep him busy with the casting couch try-outs for new escorts).

 

Thailand has some clubs. Many other European cities have very private clubs (especially in Germany, and now one or two in Moscow) but one has to know the language quite well.

If the shows are indeed back on, the best place to find them is the Patpong area of Bangkok. There are several bars featuring shows on Soi Duangthawee off of Suriwong Road - Future Boys, Boys Bangkok, New Man. Dream Boys Barbier used to have a pretty good show. If you like muscle, check out the Tawan Club on Soi Tarntawan, across the street from the Tawan Ramada. All of these bars are within a couple minutes walking distance of each other. Outside of the Patpong, or Bangkok for that matter, you are not likely to find much in the way sex shows. Pattaya is fairly strict about cracking down on sex shows. Last time I was in Phuket, My Way Bar was the only place that offered a sex show. In Chiang Mai the only bar to offer a sex show was the Adams Apple - the actual f**king was simulated, but it was still pretty hot, and they like to incorporate humor and a plot. When I was last there they had a very sexy and funny skit involving a young man laid up in hospital with a broken leg.

I will add my experience, now some years ago, about so called sex shows at several establishments in Hamburg and Berlin. Be wary! Some clubs advertise these, but they are very dull by Montreal standards. In essence the guys cozy up to you at the bar, and are paid to encourage you to buy them a drink, which is charged to you at extremely inflated prices. Some of these places are rip off joints. The guys tend to order the most expensive drinks to pray on the unsuspecting foreigner, and a half of champagne is the going drink which will probably cost you $35. Be careful.

In such places I generally stick to non-alcoholic drinks for a while and if the guy hints at a drink, I say "Want one of what I am having?" I only once had one order the champagne - and I thought I paid for the ticket to have it flown from France to Germany!!!

I had a similar experience at a club in Cologne once called Valentino's. I actually reviewed the expereince on this site. The drink thing is a real scam, but the boy I picked was also excellent in bed. In the end I paid what I would have paid here at home if you include the price of the drinks.

I was in Thailand last April. Super Lex's had a sex show every night. Nothing simulated. The other bars were hit and miss as the police had been cruising by that previous week. Super Lex had this tall Asian guy who had to be 9" working over this slim youong guy in every position imaginable including a few feet from our table - a little to close for me -- I would NOT recommend any of the bars in Phuket except maybe during the high season. I spent 3 days there during sonkgran and most bars were empty. The Why Not did not have a sex show but they did rip me off, when I got my tab not only did I buy 2 drinks for the boy I was interested in but also 2 for one of the mamasans all at inflated prices!
