Obsolete entries?

I was going through some escort listings, and there's a lot of obsolete entries in there. What would readers here suggest in terms of getting rid of obsolete entries? Getting rid of entries with no signs of life after one year? An e-mail after one year to confirm acitivity or not? Certainly, it would seem that anyone with no entries after 18 months is probably no longer escorting... Maybe volunteers could alert HooBoy as to obsolete entries?

I would appreciate it Of course, then we get to the escrot rivals who will try to delete their competition and I'll be removing and reinstating all day.

 

However, now that I have extra time, I am going to start writing to all escorts and ask if they are still in the biz, so we'll be up to speed soon, but if any of you that have some longeveity and credibility here can help me, that will be most appreciated.

HooBoy welcomes notification that a reviewed escort is no longer escorting, or has new contact information. Sadly, this is completely voluntary much like submission of reviews.

 

Arbitrary "timeout" periods probably won't work because the guys come and go.

 

If a review is "old" and you contact the guy and he's no longer available, report your findings. HooBoy will publish them if they can be verified.

How about a special icon for those without recent reviews? Not all the reviews have dates with them.

alot of escorts have retired only to come back into the business later. i would suggest that if an escort retires, the reviews stay but a notation added that he is retired so that if he returns, the information as to his past behavior is still available.

I just officially started escorting again. (There will be no ads in newspapers and no outcalls to hotels/motels.) I must say that I am very pleased with the way HooBoy has been handling this. When I notified Hoo to let him know I was out of the business, he kept my reviews on file so that now he was able to pull them up and add them back into the lineup. (I hope I'm not giving away trade secrets here.) I have two clients I'm still seeing whom I hope to chat into sending in fresher material, but it certainly helps to be able to do this, at least right at first.
