I spoke to him on the phone today for the first time. How disappointing!

 

I expected him to be an arrogant jerk and instead he was what others who know him have said of him for a long time...he's funny, gracious, smart, easygoing, perceptive, honest, and real. It was a true love-fest on my side. On the topic of Rod Hagen, I have resisted talking about him for quiet sometime. First a disclaimer...I've never met the man, never spoke to him, and never exchanged emails.
