In San Diego

Hi Guys!

In San Diego, I have directed people to the Dolphin Motel, in the Point Loma area, kinda near the airport. They run a "Fisherman's Special" -- 3 hrs for approx. $23.00

For directions etc, their phone is (619) 226-1717. They do not take reservations. Walk-ins only, but rooms are always available.

It is also listed on "CruisingForSex.com".

It is basically clean and discreet -- not too sleazy, but also ain't no Hilton either.

Thanks, Talvin, for this thread. This is the kind of thing that is important AND relevant to escorts and consumers, and the type of info that should be encouraged on this Forum!

Thanks!

Dave

No, In Boston I always used the Holiday Inn when I stayed there. It was right next to the T station and I usually got a great internet rate of $99.00 a night when I stayed there. Boston hotels are incredibly expensive for some reason.

No offense taken Traveller.

Try the Claremont in Los Angeles; it is in Westwood right off Wilshire. The rooms are quite small but they are clean. Used a lot by visiting profs at UCLA. A couple of years ago the rate per night was about $50.

Hi Talvin,

I think the purpose of your post was and is quite laudable.

I find a sleezy room sets a certain tone for the encounter

that is very dispiriting...and often demeaning. I think you

just want to save money...like us all. :)

Try Hotel Discounts...particularly on the weekend and last minute. The costs could

be less than an hourly place and you have the room for another

adventure should one come your way.

Hi Traveler,

Could it be the Holloway Motel(that's just east of Santa Monica) or are you referring to the Alta Cienega's

fuck all night for $35.00 rate? :)

Take care, Les

The Best Western Presidential in midtown Manhattan, heart of the theatre district, a block or so from Stellas. The joint's usually packed with busloads of theater going yokels from south Jersey, but ask for the "managers special" and a very decent room is only $89.00.

here in dc there is a place (english basement) that can be rented hourly or nightly.

i don't know the rate, but clients have told me it is quite reasonable.

it is in the shaw neighborhood, which isn't the best, but isn't the worst. the place is clean & relatively pleasant. no, it isn't the ritz-carlton, but that wasn't the point of the thread.

here's the info:

Hi Les,

My real purpose was to find hotels that you can rent by the hour. I know when I go to NYC or in cities like SF where I have friends. I usually stay with them. So I always have to do OUT calls. Instead of having a client pay for a room for an entire day (and in NYC or SF you know that can be well over 100.00) I would rather save them money and have them get a room that I know charges by the hour(s). This will save the client time and money by anyone who wishes to participate on this thread and it will help other escorts too. If an escort is going to be in a city for a few days then I would suggest getting a nicer hotel instead of one of the hourly hotels. But make sure you get a good deal. There are plenty of good deals on the internet. I have stayed at some of the 5 star hotels for 89.00 a night. The Lowes in Philadelphia and Miami I have found between 89 to 99 a night on the internet. Yes I am a bargain shopper :)

Hey Talvin..Thanxs again for what started out to be an informative post..I already copied down the names of a few hotels in NYC and plan to use them since it is so hard and costly to get escorts to leave NYC...Listen I need you over in the Deli for my Post...
Married With Children..
I am sure you have had some expierences with clients who fall into that category..Without getting too personal..I would love to hear your insight....everyone else is welcomed too...

Thanxs Talvin

buttnovice,

This off-color remark strikes me as more than a little out of line, something I don't recall associating with you before. :-(

It is my understanding (albeit second hand) that Talvin limits the number of appointments in a given day and I admit to having a streak of Scotch in me, so when I can find a top escort that I do not have to 'take a number for' and provides a clean room I'm satisified. I don't show for the linens and doilies... cleanliness, heat and hot water is sufficient for my purposes. If things are going as planned, I'm oblivious to the rest.

NYC - HOTEL DEAUVILLE - NOT!

If this is the place I think it is, it should come with a warning label. This thread is about cheap hotels, and I agree this one is cheap. I can also say it appeared reasonably clean.

Downsides are #1 no air conditioning; #2 creepy guy at the desk; #3 even creepier elevator operator; #4 water from shower stinks; #5 overall impression Hitchcock movie or Twilight Zone episode.

Made that mistake once and only once. If I can afford an escort, I can afford a nicer place.

I never had to worry about the guy at the front desk. The elevator guy seemed okay. The room that the client had did have A/C and the water was fine.

Maybe the room you had was gross?

The sheets were clean etc. But for 50.00 for 5 hours your not going to get the Marriot or Hilton. I think the client wanted a clean place to do "the business"

RE: Cheap hourly hotels in popular cities - Montreal

Any of the Montreal saunas are cheap and adequate. Also, the Hotel Dorion above Club Taboo has a room that's rented by the hour. The Aux Berge Hotel/Sauna (in the early nineties, before the gay village took off, this was the place to stay) on the west side has nice rooms.

Buttnovice,

Somewhere between action and impulse lies a realm of good taste that is begging for your acquantance. Does Talvin really deserve such vitriolic invective when he was merely trying to lend some helpful advice? Generally the people who make such condescending statements about looks (his height) or money (the pinto/chevette) are, themselves, intimately familiar with squalor and insecurity. Please try to be a better sport.
