Last Sunday I surfed the four pages of rentboy.com for San Francisco, CA. On page three was a stunner: Angelo. I read and viewed everything that's here about him.. I also emailed him from the rentboy.com site. On Monday or Tuesday, Angelo rang me; we spoke amicably and briefly for a few minutes. I telephoned him later that evening and made arrangements to see him on Friday at his place (which by the way is almost a two hr drive from where I live)! Come Friday evening, a few hours before the date, Angelo called me and cancelled. I was quite disappointed and annoyed and spoke abruptly to him. When I got off of the telephone, I sent him a very brief email of apology for my abruptness. I also rang him and left a brief message of apology on his answering machine. (It should have been the other way around!!!!!)

 

On Saturday at about 11am, Angelo rang me; we talked briefly and decided to see each other at nine o'clock tonight at his place. I got ready and rang him at 6:45pm to tell him that I was on my way. Before I could get out of the house, my t-phone rang; it was Angelo. "________, I'm sorry but I will have to reschedule.!" I didn't say much except for him to FORGET about it! After I got off of the phone, I said, "That mother.....!

 

I sent him a scathing email about the way I'd been treated, and I plan to write a no show review recapping the above with particulars in terms of stats, etc...In the email I told him that I've been with some super-great escorts and porn stars during the past three years domestically as well as internationally and how (if there have been any cancellations on their part or mine-- how we've dealt with it!)

 

I hope he gets the message, for this is certainly no way to treat anyone be it from my end or his!

At least you got the courtesy of a phone call, more than Lucky got in his recent similar situation. It appears to me he was a cancellation and not a No Show. It is really frustrating if you have an appointment, wait and wait and they never show or give the courtesy to even call and let you know what happened. Unfortuately it is just a part of hiring Escorts. If you hire fairly often, sooner or later you'll be stood up.

IMHO. Due to the "Law of Averages" Similar situations have happened to all of us at one time or another...I had a very well liked and Reviewed Guy for over 4 years, from NYC Cancel on me "15 mins" before he was due to show up. With his "Reason for Cancelling" he could have "very easily" Cancelled alot sooner! He was a guy I had hungout with on and off for quite awhile..BUT waiting til the "last minute",pissed me off because I don't like the "Prep Work" for no reason! LOL.. But some of these "SuperStars" we now have at $250 or more could really "care less" apparently..Then again they have been "created" by the "High Rollers" amongst us! LOL :+

Fellows, your comments are reassuring! Thanks! A few moments ago I opened my emails, and there was one from Angelo. He apologized and stated that his cancelling "had nothing to do with age." In fact he stated that he had an attraction for older guys. At the conclusion of his e--he apologized "to end things on good terms."

 

From what he wrote, apparently he does not have a system in cancelling. If he had to cancel again, he could have rung me in the afternoon or early evening then I would NOT have had to prepare to drive for almost two hours, shower, and do all of the necessary facets before one sees an escort. I even didn't eat dinner because I did not want anything in my system albeit I was not going to bottom for him at this moment because I'm recuperating from a torn ligament surgery in my knee area; a lot of force against this whole area would not have been in my best interest.

That really sucks Axiom !!! I hear ya cause it happened to me twice, but I guess I looked at it as I would rather have a cancellation or even a no show rather than pay the money and have a shitty time.

 

I got stood up by a jersey guy early this year, but I didnt care too much cause I was at my house and doing my laundry and getting other things finished...never heard from him

 

Another guy here in NYC arranged a meeting with me via email and we confirmed by phone. This guy has a bunch of positive reviews and no negative ones. We spoke the night before and arranged the meeting at his place at 2pm. Said he would give me directions the next day about an hour before I was gonna leave (more than enoght time for me to get there)...never called so at 1:30pm I called and left a message. As I've said before, it really works both ways. While Derek and I have never stood up a client, we have definitely had it happen to us. Not often, thankfully, but when it happens it sure sucks. The thing is...both escorts and clients need to remember that you're dealing with a person, not a sex machine or an ATM, and that person deserves the same courtesy you'd give your dentist or trainer or anyone else with whom you make an appointment.

Novice..Then we have the Reverse Situation..Where actually a Guy "should have Cancelled" but didn't. A well known Gaiety Dancer and myself planned a nice Hot BKLYN Session.
