Hottie at Numbers LA

Tonight I finally worked up enough nerve to enter Numbers and survey the landscape I'd heard so much about. I'm not too sure on how to work the room, but my eye was immediately drawn to a gorgeous guy who I assume (hope?) was there on a working basis. This was around 9:15 on Thursday night. He was at the bar talking to someone - thick black spikey hair, large dark eyes, wearing a white T-shirt that showed off a beautiful set of biceps. Does anyone know who I'm referring to? Does he hang there often, or advertise anywhere? I'm a bit on the shy side and have know idea how to pursue this...

Oh I was dying to, but he was already talking with someone else - as everyone always is. It would just seem rude to me to cut in on someone else.

Boink-just have the bartender take the drink to him-and if he is "available"then the fella will ask"who sent this drink?"and the bartender will say"that fella with his wallet-and tongue- hanging out!"

It used to be easier when they had cocktail waiters serving the standing crowd and the folks out on the patio.

Lots of older guys at Numbers talk to the younger guys with absolutely no real intention of hiring them... just ask one of the younger guys. :-)

 

Walk over and stand next to where they are talking at the bar. My guess is that the guy you are interested in will turn and smile at you within 2 minutes max, at which point you can smile back and ask if he wants a drink.

While we are on the subject, once in a while I drop by there on Friday nights. The past few times I've seen this gorgeous little muscular guy there. Really beautiful gymnast like body with more bulked up muscle. Really full lips, thick dark brown hair, and a thick accent of some kind. Couldn't be more than 5'6". He is really stunningly sexy, in my opinion. Just seems something might be a little off. Ring any bells fellas?

BG, so true! I used to go there years ago, but eventually gave up for two reason one of which you stated. The other is that I'm not much fo a "closer" so it seemed the guys that would hire me were the ones that stayed for last call.

 

While I was able to command at least $50 extra when I was hired at Numbers, I figured that the lower price from my ads was the client's reward for not making me stay up so late that I would listen to Howard Stern's live feed driving home.

Playgirl coverboy "Dominic" is from Montreal and dances (or danced) at Stock Bar. He also used to work at the Gaiety in NYC as "Jason". From what I've heard he "bats for our team". This is always the easiest and most sensible thing to do and I also appreciate your courtesy to the "potential candidate" is recognizing that he was with someone and not wanting to intrude. I also noticed that most of the clients here have assumed that the person this young man was talking to was an older, probable client. It could have been a friend. Therefore, the best advice would be to ask the bartender (who should also, hopefully, be aware of what the young man is drinking) go up to him and tell him "XYZ gentlemen over there would like to buy you a drink, what would you like." At that point, the young man, if he has any manners, would either acknowledge, or hopefulyl come over and thank you.

 

However, I would not automatically assume at this junture that the young man can be had for any price, but you can (shyness notwithstanding) bring that up in the conversation without causing embarrasment to either party.

 

Some clients might believe that this is a lot of circling, but frankly not everyone at Numbers has a For Rent sign on their ass and it is not the same thing as responding to an escort listing, so why not be prudent?
