Health question: if i drink the pee what are the risks?

Exploring water sports for the first time and wanted to know what were the risks associated with swallowing? Despite my long history with escorts, I have never even caught any STD and I do not want to start now. Any knowledgeable people out there on this? Can I guzzle to my hearts content. Blu,as far as i can recall there is no danger in drinking urine,in fact in some parts of the far east it is actually part of some therapy which i cant remember the name of but it is something to do with tantric yoga ,some cultures believe that it has healing properties and helps with things like anti-ageing etc i also beleieve that there was a famous actress who expoused the therapy as well ,hope this helps BIG A (ANDY)LONDON

If the kidneys are functioning properly urine should not pose a problem. However, feces are another matter and do expose you to Hep.

No idea what the taste is like, nor can I testify as to what amount since it's not likely to ever pass my lips. But I do suspect that it's safer than the water as the kidneys should filter out any impurities.

I'm no doctor but, if the kidneys filter out imprurities, what do they do with them? Don't they discard them into the urine?

Urine is sterile, but the smell and/or taste can be bad.

Generally speaking, urine of HUMANS is not a major source of infectious diseases. However, some Salmonella can be spread from patients and carriers of the bacteria causing TYPHOID and PARATYPHOID FEVERS, which in some cases could be fatal. Contrary to what some may have said in this thread, Hepatitis A is NOT transmitted via urine, but rather by the FECAL-oral route.

this is the urinal set up every year on Staten Island for the NYC marathon and the sometimes funny site from which it came.

 

i had a friend with a funny piss story. some of us mildly-aging posters remember the Anvil in NYC, an after-hours action bar with different levels and rooms for various lewd purposes, as well as some fabulous drag shows and incredibly handsome and scantily clad dancing boys. my friend was in the just-about-totally-dark "piss room," with an old fashioned trough with occasional inhabitants. another man taking a piss spit into the trough, on which an unbeknownst visitor sat up in the trough and yelled at him for spitting on his piss-stained body. go figure he got upset about being spit on!!

The Anvil had drag shows, dancing boys and two levels but no piss trough...that was the Mine Shaft.

Been there a few times (w/s) Once in NYC with a really hot Marine, had a wonderful time submitting. Next was with a Marine here at home.
