American Male Escorts site needs fixed!

What happened to all the Atlanta, Ga. escorts on American Male? There were only 2 yesterday , now its up to 5. I know there were many, many more than that. I'm heading to Atlanta and now my selection is limited on their site.

I've emailed them twice and gottne no response.

It would be nice if AME were finally trying to clean up their act, but the other recent posting about Mormon Boy on that site leaves me with a lot of doubt.

 

Also seems like more often than not, the really hot guys that appeared too good to be true were associated with Cupcake, Young hot escorts or Nationwide. Wonder if its sheer coincidence.

 

I often check their site when I'm travelling out of state, but I haven't used any of their guys yet. I hope others have had success with this site.

I really appreciate your posting earlier this month in another thread about Younghotescorts.com. That's what made me feel like I was being fed a line.

 

Haven't had a response yet to my e-mail to deal directly with the escort rather than an "agency". But I'm not holding my breath for a positive encounter.

Guys4rent, as a free-to-list site, is often invaded by the Nationwide/Cupcake scam. Men4rentnow is dicier, since they charge to be listed. However, as someone here (Deej maybe?) observed, what's 30 bux a month to pay for a listing if you can scam ten times that or more from the ad? x(

 

Caveat emptor: if they require a "deposit", walk away, or at least be VERY careful! x(

Along the lines of the "deposit" theme, some of the scammers say that they require some money upfront as a good faith gesture since they allege that they have been stiffed before by clients.

 

A well documented (on this forum) variation of that theme is the escort who wants to collect his money upfront, again, because he alleges he was scammed in the past. He then makes some excuse to leave (or leave before the session is up) and there goes your money.

 

I'm quite sure that the scammers will continue to think of more creative ways to separate money from client and I'm glad that we can at least discuss this topic here.

 

I wholeheartedly agree that one should do the research and use this site as a starting point. (Assuming, of course, that you don't hire the negatively reviewed ones.) <SMILE>

Escort Listing Sites

 

AME was going to also start charging the escorts, I believe fairly soon. I searched for my own listing and it is still in the Los Angeles areas although the total number of escorts has gone down. This webmaster has been making a concerted effort to make the escorts confirm their e-mail address or deleting ads of non-responders. That may be what happened to the Atlanta listings.

 

As for other sites, another one for clients to check out is http://www.studfiles.com, which has as a side benefit sites listing escorts in Florida (Sunshine State Studs), Texas (Lone Star Male Escorts), of course California but also a Canadian list, uncut escorts, bi escorts and a few others. Unlike Rent Boy, it is free to list, and thus the site (and the sub/sister sites) have many more listings. Conversely, it will also have a few dead listings, but that is part of what you clients get in return for more selection.

It's just that the charge sites work a lot better, probably because they weed out the inactive escorts and maybe because by charging they get a somewhat more professional group of guys. By far my best sites for leads are the pay-to-list sites, this one, and my personal web page (shameless self-promotion: http://www.LaterSlater.com). All of the free sites I'm on (and there are a lot-- my friends joke that they can't pour milk on their cereal in the morning without seeing a pic of my dick) cumulatively don't equal the leads I get from a single pay-to-list site.

 

By the way, I think men4rentnow does allow free ads. At least it did when I signed up about a year ago, and I don't think that's changed. They just list the paying ads first.

Actually, I believe you're wrong. First, Men4RentNow was a totally free-to-list site when they started. After about 20 months or so they switched to pay-to-list. M4RN now gives (sometimes) a free first-month listing, but then charges after that. They'll keep your listing up for a few months if you don't pay, but take down your contact info, so the only contact is via email through their site. If a non-paying escort receives an email from a client through the site, the escort is notified that he has client email, and if he wants to read it, he has to pay his monthly fee. If not ...

I am not trying to "dish" AME, in fact I like searching their site more than others, its easy to navigate, and I check it often for new guys. Its just that I know there were many escorts in Atlanta a couple weeks back and then all of a sudden they disappeared. I doubt if they were weeded out, I think they were lost on the server or something. Just wondered what happened to them.
