I am doing great! It was cold and rainy as fuck in L.A. Biz has been good in Vegas. I just returned from the mall where I had to find a light jacket that would finally fit. Bless the big-n-tall store :0) And I tracked down a Kim Possible varsity jacket(HIGH PRIORITY on my Xmas gift list)

 

I hope Ben is well too. He told me Sat. that this Vegas trip was to decompress and chill. He said his client schedule was very light and to give him a holler when I got to town. In a nutshell: I was super busy in Vegas and didn't get the chance to meet with STJ. Moreso, we were NEVER on schedule for a sexual hookup, but simply a cup-a-joe and some chat.

 

As for my own line of communication: My cruddy 'world phone' seems to only want to work in Mexico. Argh. I've already apologized for not always getting back to those who call, but do make it a point to keep current on my email.

 

I'm only home in SA about 2-3 days a month, so please find it in your hearts to cut me a little slack

I can't even fathom the scenario, where you, of all people, have to justify a non-response to an email. I've seen you stay up most of the night to answer your emails!

VaHawk: I agree with you. Benj has always responded to my e-mails. Maybe not right away, but I have always gotten an answer. Generally I can tell when it will take a while as Benj's Blog lets me know when he is traveling. When he's out with one of his guys or working, I know it will be a while before I get a response.

 

Also, I have to give Benjamin a break, he is working on his Blog, maintaining and responding to e-mails from his website, maintaining and responding to e-mails from his group site, responding to e-mails from H.B.'s site, working on updating his website, launching his new group site, watching and posting to this Message Center to stay up on what's happening, and responding to personal e-mails as well. I am sure he must have personal business like the rest of us and probably tries to spend some time with his family and friends. Also, it looks like he is getting ready for Grad School in the summer. Plus Benj always washes his own clothes and has to keep his underwear organized. If it were me I would need a personal assistant to help me manage my time.

 

Hey, that would be a job, B.N.'s personal assistant. My guess is the pay may not be that great, but I would really be interested in the benefits package.

Hi John,

Actually Benjamin had a whole bunch of communication problems in LV on this trip so don`t feel neglected.

We were supposed to be meeting on Tue evening which he confirmed at 1pm by vm on that day. Said he was going to try and bring you too since you and I had met before. Granted this was social for dinner ,drinks, possible show etc but he then left an em that said a possible client might come into town and he would confirm at my hotel by 7pm when we could meet later that evening. At 8.30pm I was still waiting for a call in my room, sent him a po`d email saying that I would be at Gypsy or other bars in the same area from 11pm -1am. He was no show, no phone message even though he had my room # at the Venetian and no email until an apologetic one sent two days later.

If I had known ahead of time I would not have changed my prior plans and that`s the reason he knows I am so unhappy.I did not expect the "Wunderkid" to screw up so much on this trip.

Ah Well. Life Goes On.
