How many reviews have appeared like this one about the outrageous scams that Anthony Holloway has pulled off time and time again? Come on, guys, what will it take before some of you wake up? How many people have to warn you that you don't pay in advance? This guy has more reviews for his misdeeds and even after reading about his exploits, some insist on walking into his transparent trap. D-U-H!

<<Experience: We had arranged to get together while he was in Boston. I should have known better, but Anthony insisted on prepayment. He said he had been having trouble with people skipping out on appointments at the last moment. I didn't like the idea but agreed because he had to give me his real name and address in order to send him the money. Also, he sounded so sincere on the phone. Previous negative reviews should have sent me running, but Anthony always had an excuse and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake! He just took my money and ran off back to California where he lives. Do not let him take you in>>

How come with all these warnings Holloway doesn't get one of those little "man with gun to head" icons that are on pages of escorts who have a history of problems with their clients?

Separately, does anyone know whether his exboyfriend Brad Rudolph is a good guy or of similar repute? long been interested in him, and his reviews seem okay, but always you know what they say, "like (usually) attracts like"! Anyone?

I don't think the suckers are usually MC readers, but I was kind of surprised that reviewer admited to knowing about the reviews and *prepaid* him anyway!

Is he that fucking amazing in porn?? I don't think he's all that special looking (a little to the contrary, in fact), for his rates there are probably two dozen guys with better reviews and cuter faces in LA alone... (or if it's that you have to live closer to the edge then spread his rate between two Craig's List guys looking to make rent!).

I mean, I've regretted thinking with the wrong head before, but I just don't get why anybody would even contact Holloway at this point!

Maybe HooBoy could put this as a banner across the top:

If it's Holloway, it's a scam. If the escort asks to be prepaid, it's (most likely) a scam. If you choose Holloway and then prepay him, please post your inevitable bad experience so we can all get a good laugh!

How do guys like this stay in business?

Guys look at the escort's images and nothing else (ie, they think with their dick instead of their brain). Anyone who sends money up-front to an asking escort is taking their chances and IMO is dealing with someone who's far from a professional.

As Chuck50 says, 'Do your homework.' Why someone would hire Holloway after so many unsavory reviews is mindboggling. Insult to injury? i've seen what Anthony looks like in-person and the images he's now using are FAR from his true look... To me, it's like looking at two different guys.

Warmest Always,

I have a good friend who has hired Brad several times, including within the last several months. He tells me that Brad is great -- no problems at all and appears to be totally into his clients (or at least into my friend, who's not great catch, lol). I've always stayed away from him just because of his association with Holloway, but I guess the fact that they are "ex's" might also indicate that Brad is more legit -- or at least saw the light. In any case, my friend (who is a very frequent hirer) speaks very highly of Brad.

He did -- sort of. After a number of early reviews from clients who complained that AH had pulled the advance payment scam on them, and after one of them had actually sent Hooboy a copy of the Western Union document showing he had sent AH money, Hooboy put a note on AH's reviews. The note simply stated that it is not a good idea to send escorts money in advance. Later, despite additional reviews complaining of similar scams by AH, the note was removed.

If you can find out why the management of this site has such reluctance to call attention to even the most obvious scam artists among escorts reviewed here, please let the rest of us in on it.

Brad Rudolph

As my friend Uncle Bill mentions above...I still see Brad Rudolph. I think (for my tastes) he is a great looking guy - that's what I really like about him. Read his reviews - he is not a "full service" escort. Call or email him and talk about what you're interested in - be honest and he will be in return. He's a very, very nice boy, very easy to talk to, and did I say great looking?

BTW, I've experience ZERO of the problems with Brad associated with his ex-BF Anthony Holloway.

Someone asked why Holloway doesn't have the "flag on the play" icon. That's explained in the faq (or used to be). Use of that icon has been discontinued, I believe. (As has the "Hooboy seal of approval" icon.)

If you'd like to vote for the return of either icon, write to Hooboy@male4malescorts.com.

I've talked with Holloway on the phone (on a completely unrelated matter) and he CAN be an extremely charming guy, and I can see that charm being used as a weapon with a client who's thinking with his dick.

LOL!

OK, so I should have said "the quote commonly attributed to P.T. Barnum".

How about this one:

"You can fool some people all of the time and all people some of the time, but you cannot fool all people all of the time."

(Paraphrased)

Commonly attributed to A. Lincoln.

RE: Brad Rudolph

Hmmmm, you're right - Brad's email address seems to have gone bad. Maybe another retirement?? I'll try and give him a phone call in the next few days and see he's around or perhaps moved on?

I contacted him at that "updated" email address at the top of his review as recently as August, and met with him then - but we've been playing phone and email tag for about 5 weeks - until my email bounced yesterday.
