Just curious...do you prefer in calls or out calls. And why? Would be interested in hearing from escorts and clients. For myself, when in my home town (San Francisco), I prefer in calls. Think it is because I feel more comfortable in my own environment.

I am also more comfortable having the escort come to me. I am nervous enough wondering what is going to walk through the door, let alone if the home is going to be OK. Although after the initial appointment foing to them would not be as problematic but I still like my home, my bed, etc.

I used to prefer in calls -- I think because I was lazy But now I definitely would rather see a guy at his place or at his hotel. It's not that I mind having guys over, and I think I'm a pretty good host as well -- I've got a nice place that I'm fixing up to be nicer and I like showing it off. But I think I do a better job if I'm not at home -- it lets me focus on having a good time and we're less likely to have the phone ring or the neighbor knock on the door, etc.

i only accept outcalls.

i suppose the primary reason is because i have roommates--one of whom doesn't even know i escort. by not accepting incalls, i don't have to bother with clearing them out for an appointment.

even if i lived alone, i don't think i would want to do incalls, though. it wouldn't be living above the shop, but rather living IN the shop.

Wow. I seem to be the only client who prefers in-calls so far. There are two main reasons. Number one is that I'm somewhat uncomfortable at having someone I don't know come to my place. Who knows when you'll meet a psycho? Although I've only had to turn 2 or 3 escorts down in my life, it could also have been a problem if they came to my place (in the cases where I turned the escorts down, they had substantially lied about their appearance). The other reason is that I'm a bit out of town. It never ceases to amaze me how many escorts in my town do only outcalls but don't even have a car!!

I am usually in another city when I hire escorts, and I have always hired in calls. This is largely because I don't always have a rental car, and I don't know my way around the city. Spending a half an hour trying to find the address would not add to the experience. The hotel room has advantages for both parties. It is certain to be clean and private and safer than going to a private home.

Reading these posts, I get the impression that people are interpreting the terms in opposite ways. If we use the escorts' lingo, an in-call is at the escort's place, an out-call is anywhere else.

 

For first time meetings, I always prefer to go to the escort's place, for the simple reason that I can easily leave immediately if I realize that the guy is a loser. It's much harder to get rid of someone once he is at your home or hotel, especially if he arrives drunk, stoned, or belligerent from some experience on his way there; he will also expect to be paid something for the trouble of traveling there. Even if the experience is OK, there is also the problem of someone whom you don't really want to see again knowing where to find you (I had a particularly unpleasant incident with this once). Finally, the escort is more likely to be relaxed on his own turf, so I can just deal worry about my own nerves and not have to play host as well.

 

In-calls are also normally cheaper than out-calls.

 

I only have an escort come to my place when it is someone I have used successfully in the past, or someone who is sent by a very reliable agency.

I see escorts only in hotels, without exception. I have never and would never take the risk of having an escort come to my home, nor would I feel comfortable going to an escort's home. Both seem to me to involve crossing the line between the professional and the personal.

I prefer outcalls simply because it is easier for me to drive into DC rather than try to give directions to my place in the burbs.

 

One note to escorts accepting in-calls. Make sure you are aware of your state and county laws. I've been warned that if you are convicted of prostitution within the District of Columbia and you accept in-calls, any and all property within your residence can be confiscated.
