The escort hangout in West Hollywood is a bar known as Numbers. I have only been there once, but the Twinks advise that there is a fair variety of men available, from the predominantly young, thin types to the occassional body builder.

 

For a sure bet, the Frontier's classified, coupled with the reviews here, would be your safest bet.

 

I personally am not aware of any escorts who go on their own initiative and seek clients at either a bathhouse or sex club in the Los Angeles area. There are a number, any good gay travel guide would give you some insight into them. What does happen is that clients do hire escort(s) to accompany them to such places and either perform for a public audience or attempt to engage members of the crowd to join in. Such is quite certainly possible, using the escort(s) as "bait."

Of course I've been using this great site for info. about escorts and have jogged down some numbers. But I just liked the idea of going to a place (like Rounds in NYC's good ole times - oh my god, I've just dated myself) and actually meet a few escorts, connect and ... take them home, rather than just call or e mail. But I guess those days are gone, at least in this country. As for the bathhouses, I was just curious if one was better than another - but I wouldn't take an escort there, I don't have a one track mind, lol, I can also enjoy a hot "non escort" man.

I don't consider myself old and I REMEMBER Rounds, wasn't it just great! I picked up my first escort there in the eighties (forget exact date). He was marvelous! And I loved the ambience in that place, so relaxed. I guess I was young enough that my escort asked me politely if I knew what kind of place it was after I asked him if he wanted to come to my hotel. I think I grinned in reply.;-)

Hey everyone.

Will be in LA soon and was wondering if there were any bars where escorts hang out (I know there are no brothels - alas). Or can anyone point me to the cruisy bars in town and bathouses?
