Like Streisand, Bonnie Tyler, and Air Supply, her Jim Steinman song was interesting (and sounded like every Meatloaf song).  Mrs. Brolin's was my fave, though they are all basically the same song.

No, it's not on the top ten list of songs that made me want to throw the radio out the window.  Somewhere in the 15-20 range, probably.

While not as “epic” as some of her other work, I’ve always felt that “Misled” was a superbly-crafted pop song. And one of her more under-rated singles. I love it when it comes up in my rotation.

Apologies for veering off-topic (the topic being Celine Dion), but for my money Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman was a marriage made in musical heaven. The full version of “Objects In The Review Mirror” (not the radio or MTV edit) is bleeping unbelievable. And, controversial though it may be, in my opinion, Bonnie Tyler was the only woman who possessed the voice to deliver a Jim Steinman composition with the strength and power that it demanded. (Of course, we’ll always have Ellen Foley/Karla DeVito on “Paradise By The Dashboard Light”.) I now return this forum to the beautiful, venerable Canadian chanteuse. (“Je rends maintenant la parole à la belle et vénérable chanteuse canadienne.”)
