You can see Sean at his site http://www.worldescrt.com/ Track him down, he's well worth the effort. He is still escorting. He fucks like a tiger and can be great fun in bed.

Good luck

RE: Reds

Reds is located above the old Rounds, Julies is down the street from the Townhouse on 58th St. Red is testing its staying power by only opening on Thursday so far. My post setting them back a month or two I have already apoligized for. Check it out I hear it can be fun. Lets just pray it doesn't go the same way as Rounds did. I would love for it to stick around.

Is he the escort that tried to close down Club Red?

>Is he the escort that tried to close down Club Red?

Scott seems very discreet and intelligent, I am sure that was not his intentions. He was just expressing his opinions based on his experience in the business...and what he said was not unfounded, it was all based on facts and what happened in the past with Rounds.

Nobody here will have anything to gain if Club Red was closed.....

Just my opinions..

Sport, I never tried to close down Red. I was just expressing my concerns knowing first hand what happened to Rounds is all. Why don't you go back to the Red thread and re read what I posted.

Sean is right.

I first met Sean at Rounds in early 1993, when it was a great bar - friendly, safe and with plenty of interesting cute guys. There were some hustlers at the corner of 51st (or was it 52nd?) but no real problems in the neighbourhood. In 1994, that all changed with Giuliani, a judge on the block and zero tolerance.

Now Red is setting itself up for the same attacks. I sincerely hope that Red does not go the way of Rounds, but history does not provide a good precedent.

I really do hope that Red does succeed. Rounds was a great place - dependable, safe, fun and discrete. But Sean's warning should not go unheeded. Of course, the fears of mass arrests at Red etc are overstated, and I, for one, intend to visit real soon.

Who knows, maybe I'll see Sean at the bar again after all these years.

Take care.

Reds

Speaking of Reds, can someone please post the lowdown on this place ? Someone told me that it is nromally a lesbian bar called Julie's. Is Reds only on Thursdays or do the boys go to the bar everyday?

What are the best times to go ?

Thanks in advance

I used to love Rounds....One of the all-time greatest hustler bars.

Was amazing EVERY night of the week, a fun place to go and always

packed with the hottest guys. Remember when they closed there was

a sign on the door that said "Closed for serving alcohol to minors".

Someone crossed that out and wrote: "No, closed for serving minors to alcoholics......" Always thought that was funny. Miss that place.

no, its well known that orientals invented rice and know a lot about it, alot of the old families have secrets about how to make it so it doesnt stick together. i respect that culture so i asked the oriental about it. if you dont like talk about other cultures, to bad.

For someone who whines and cries about white people and their prejudice, this smacks a little of hypocrisy.

And since we're swapping recipes, I was wondering if you had a good fried chicken recipe?

When you met Sean (World) in 1993 at Rounds how old would you say he was then?

Why would Sean post negative things about Red? Doesn't Sean live in Los Angeles now?

Posted

Craig, If you want some really fine Asian home cooking, in a very sexy, private atmosphere, there was a review a few days ago for an escort who does just that. I'm sure that among the many things he'd be willing to show you, if he allowed you to hire him, would be how to cook rice. If you are not used to cookbooks, I'm not sure that any written advice on the matter would truely help you.

Gee Sports, you suspect that some Escorts might fib about their age? You're a regular Sherlock. Next you'll be telling me that some clients say they don't have strep when they really do.

Always buy the long grain type if you don't like your rice too sticky. Short grain such as calrose and sweet rice are primarily for dessert and snacks and gets too sticky when cooked. Rinse the rice first before cooking, put 1 1/2 cup of water for every 1 cup of rice and boil to medium heat with the lid on and turn to low heat when the water evaporates. Better yet buy a small rice cooker. The exact water level is indicated inside the pot and it shuts off automatically when the rice is cooked. If you live in SF, you can get it cheap at Chinatown, at Irving St. between 23rd and 24th Ave. or any Ranch 99 stores. I hope this helps.

I see you can spell correctly if you want to. :)

RE: Reds

Actually Julies moved to 305 West 53rd St, a few months ago. This is

where Reds is. Look at http://www.hx.com under listings for clubs for

Reds and bars for Julies and you'll see its the same space. I've been

to Julies, it one or two buildings down from where Rounds use to be.

So why didn't the gook know how to keep the rice from sticking.

Later.

PS. I here I thought rice was God's trick all along.

Ok - that does it. I am now utterly convinced that Craig is a very clever stereotype/caricature.

C'mon, Truth Teller - admit it. It's you!
