Is Toronto a great city for masseurs?

A lot of Torontans expect the price of a regular therapeutic massage but the service of an escort. From my interactions so far, it appears as if "masseur" in Canada is highly associated or almost equals full service sexual worker? In the USA, the most people expect from a masseur during a sensual session is a happy ending. Surely many also fantasize about having full sex (many times it actually happens), but from my experience, potential clients in America aren't so direct about it. Rentmasseur.com even bans any form of sexual connotation in his massaging system.

And another thing I notice is that Torontans are not willing to pay a lot for a massage. In the USA, in a city like New York the new regular is $400 for an hour with an escort-- and sometimes even more for the highest rated ones. A sensual massage in NYC is like $250 these days.

Does  Canadian health coverage include medical massage and is it easy to get approved? That might tend to keep freelancers' rates down.

There was a man in Toronto who used to give me a massage (for fun/free) every 3-4 months. His massages were great, but they terrified me because he would crack your neck. I don't know why I trusted him to not kill me, but I am still alive today. I remember feeling 5 years younger after his massages because of how intense they were.
