Using truepeoplesearch

I have used a google voice to chat with providers for more than 10 years. I recently came across truepeoplesearch website and plugged into several numbers of people I met or tried to met in the past. If the number is google voice, nothing comes up (about 50% of cases). But if not - you get the name, address and names of related people (parents, siblings, partners). Then I googled several names (if the name is more common, add a city or a state) and things like arrest records and obituaries start to pop up. 

I don't know why I went down this rabbit hole, but though I'd share if anyone is interested.  

Wondering is truepeoplesearch will be shut down?

First time hearing of truepeoplesearch, but I've seen and used similar services for screening hires, they're very common in recruiting. With so many data brokers out there, I'm sure if one goes down plenty will come up in its place

And I pay a service to find and delete me from the litany of people-search sites.  There are so many out there....when I get the report of the success they had in removal....it's crazy how many their are

Are you comfortable sharing which service, I’ve been curious about retaining one.

It's part of my Experian Credit Services.....besides getting and monitoring my credit....they offer a service to clean this up.  You can use their free version but the paid obviously does more
