Using truepeoplesearch

I have used a google voice to chat with providers for more than 10 years. I recently came across truepeoplesearch website and plugged into several numbers of people I met or tried to met in the past. If the number is google voice, nothing comes up (about 50% of cases). But if not - you get the name, address and names of related people (parents, siblings, partners). Then I googled several names (if the name is more common, add a city or a state) and things like arrest records and obituaries start to pop up. 

I don't know why I went down this rabbit hole, but though I'd share if anyone is interested.  

Wondering is truepeoplesearch will be shut down?
