Is there a point in a provider telling us how good looking he is, or how muscular?

I mean we see the pictures and can decide that for ourelves. I just saw an ad with the title "very good looking" at the top of the commentary. It's actually a bit of a turnoff, as it shows an ego. Obviously he was decent looking enough to click on in the first place. Is he going to talk me into thinking he's VERY good looking because he typed it?

I was going to say I'd rather hear about his personality,  but I guess I did. Maybe some guys are into that sort of ego, but didn't move me in the right way at all.

Perhaps it's for the benefit of the visually impaired?

While I agree that it isn't necessary, it really doesn't put me off an ad if the guy only writes it once.  It's the ads that clearly convey conceit that turn me off, particularly when they try to boost themselves up by putting others down.  I'm supposed to believe some guy is the best in my area just because he says so?
