Visiting Rome on Sunday

Any recommendations on a tour guide or companion? I’m married to a man, but traveling on business and will be alone. I’m looking for a companion to show me around the city and check out the cruise clubs, parties, etc.

My friends and I happened to have separate vacations that overlapped in Rome for 2 days.  I insisted we hire a private tour guide who showed us around the city by golf cart in the morning, then front of the line access to the Vatican in the afternoon.  It was money and time well spent. 

For the other days when I was alone, I just took mass transit and stopped by as many churches and art museums as possible.

I had pasta carbonara every day and it was amazing!  It is nothing like the creamy version in the US.

I hired https://rentmasseur.com/Achilles_masseur a year or so ago. He is a tour guide and started with a tour of Rome at night on his motorcycle (he is a professional tour guide so it was a legit tour) and followed with massage after.  He also lists a private website where you can find a lot more info (it’s on the rentmasseur profile).  Very easy to set up and meet up with (he even adjusted the schedule to avoid the rain for the tour) and he gave a very good massage.
