+ MikeThomas Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Plur1bus on Apple TV is probably one of the most strange, odd, and yet interesting SiFi shows I’ve seen in a long time. thomas, jackcali, MRK and 1 other 1 1 2
jackcali Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Big thumbs up from me on this series. It's sci-fi but not hard sci-fi (at least not yet), and it's full of Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) visual humor and quirkiness. MRK, thomas and + MikeThomas 2 1
+ poolboy48220 Posted November 19 Posted November 19 I watched the first three episodes. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep up with it. The main character is so unlikeable, that's often a dealbreaker for me. Rod Hagen 1
+ MikeThomas Posted November 20 Author Posted November 20 I like Carol as she tries to figure out her place in a world where her fellow humans have been incorporated into a single hive mind and effectively don’t exist as humans any longer, and who have threatened Carol, in such a nice way, that they’re working on a “solution” for her. Her effort to bury her partner in their backyard without any help was very sweet. MRK 1
Manhattan Posted Monday at 04:19 AM Posted Monday at 04:19 AM Rhea Seehorn is wonderful. I think the show deliberately makes the audience find Carol unlikable in the beginning. We need to wonder if such a cranky representation of humanity is really worth all the fuss. By episode four, Carol is being revealed as a more complicated person, not just in reaction to THEM.

Everyone on earth with the exception of a few people are now pod people and they're trying to do the same thing to her. She's smart, she's funny and she seems to be the only one trying to figure out how to save humanity. I find that likable. Definitely one of the best things I've seen in a long time.
