Emmy winner Brett Goldstein ("Ted Lasso") will play a divorced dad who accidentally becomes a male escort in the comedy "Escorted," which has earned an eight-episode order from Prime Video.

Is he just acting, or also producing like he did with Shrinking?

It's been forever, but didn't Hung have a mini-arc where Ray tried being available for male clients? Personally, I would hire Goldstein over Jane any day.

I doubt this series would delve into the real-world fact that women are rarely on the hiring end of transactions, and that most males who make money as a provider are getting naked with male clients on the regular.

His comedy special, The Second Best Day of Your Life, is wonderful. The title refers to the day the Ted Lasso cast went to the White House. The first best day of his life was hosting the Muppets (or was it Sesame Street?)
