Flying out to see an escort?

I just saw the review on Tom in Portland. Do you think it is too ridiculous to travel across country for a weekend to see an escort? With Fall around the corner and cheap airfares abundant, thought it might be nice to see some new places and faces.

I think it is a great idea to fly out to see an escort provided that you are fairly sure he is your type and that you have checked him out thoroughly. Also, it may not be a bad idea to bring backup information on other escorts in case something goes wrong with your plans.

The air fares are outrageously low, however, I take it you've never hung out with Tom prior to this trip. A few points. One, does he get the bucks up front for the weekend? If so, what if you don't hit it off with him? If not and you don't hit it off with him, how do you like tooling around Portland? The last, as you seem adventurous, is probably not an issue.

I would personally not fly to a city just to see an escort, especially an escort I've never met. However, I once did fly to a city I enjoyed but hadn't been to in a while, that had an escort I really wanted to meet. I had a very good airfare ($240 round-trip accross the country) on an airline for which I'm an elite customer (and access to the VIP lounges). I had a wonderful time seeing the city again, and also had a wonderful time with the escort. It turned out we hit it off, and he spent the next day with me gratis.

Would I have flown to Tulsa, Oklahoma just to see him? No. Would I have picked that time and that city to travel if he wasn't there? Probably not either. But I think that if you've got the time and inclination to go to that city anyways, and you see a great airfare, why not?

No matter how you imagine your time with the escort, though, you never can tell for sure until you meet them. There have been a couple of times when I've been quite surprised (negatively). I feel one has to weight risks and benefits...

I agree it is not wise to fly across country just to see an escort you have never met before. I made the mistake in L.V. and it was a most expensive one at that as I had no luck gambling either.

 

That said.... having been with Thom in Seattle (nor in Portland), he is one of the nicest guys around if you like intelligence matched with a very sexy body which begs to be worked over (especially if you into nice pecs). In the pics they look normal, but they really like attention, and are really great to be up close to! (As are all the other parts of Thom!!!).

A good many years ago I flew across country to see an escort because he sounded like my ultimate fantasy in his print ad (this was pre-Internet) and he sounded very sexy on the phone. He turned out to look nothing like his description and the encounter was a disastrous and expensive failure. I think your chances are a lot better in this case, but I still wouldn't do it unless you have a strong desire to see Portland and vicinity as well--suppose Thom had to cancel because of a last minute emergency or illness?

No, its not ridiculous to travel across the country to be with an escort. I agree you should be sure of the escort and have a back up plan if he doesn't show, gets sick, etc. Given that, it makes as much sense as traveling to do sight seeing, go to the museums etc or any of the other things people do on a vacation. Most of us would agree that a good escort is a lot more fun than any old museum. And of course, you can have your escort and you sightseeing.

In a way, many of us "clients" prefer seeing escorts while traveling away from our home, as it is much less likely someone will see us. It is a chance to be freer and more open, and why not with someone who is appreciative (albeit paid to be!!)?

 

Of course on such an occasion it is best to make sure you are compatible in many areas... like the other thread about overnights.

 

For instance, there are some wonderful escorts whose personality is awful in the A.M. (and I am sure some of us are just as bad, but being a morning person... I like to wake and get at it right away - once the teeth are brushed). Others are night persons, and I am not, so we would not be too compatible.

 

I try to assure on any occasions stretching beyond two hours that we have some common interests. In some cases I have been more than fortunate and Thom was one such case. Dinner with him was one of the nicest experiences, and he surprised me (on a visit to my city later) calling me to see if we could meet - and we had an excellent lunch together then wandered parts of the city where he was quite familiar with things. All around a class act.

 

I can say the same for few other escorts, but it was also a privilege to know Thom's real work, and to be given a glimpse into it, and to learn from his expertise and encyclopedic knowledge.

 

Again, research and ask questions. I have found that the majority of good (and excellent) escorts appreciate the questions and the exchange of information.
