Rentmen Links-Please Post Rather Than Embed

I've been finding lately that often when  the link is  embedded  like this, the link becomes expired, and I can't use it. This is especially true on older threads  that are made current by new content.

Whereas if the link is posted like this, it's remains active for a much longer time, possibly indefinitely,  assuming the ad remains active.

I was wondering if we could all try to post the links as in the second example  rather than try to embed them as in the 1st example above.

I'm experiencing the same thing......when posting a profile link, there is an option to "display as a link instead" at bottom right, though it's somewhat obscure.......I believe the moderators have also requested we use this option to avoid x-rated pictures (in the profile) from automatically appearing in the thread

There's also the easy-to-locate "link" icon at the top of the post creation window:

Maybe it's only a problem on iPhones. But can you still use this link which I grabbed from another thread?

I like the way the embedded link shows the picture and preview of the page.  But, I get the expired link thing.  Maybe both is the way to go.  It’d only take a few more keystrokes.  (This is where I make a joke about bisexual people always wanting both of anything.)

I have this problem with iOS Safari, but not MacOS Safari.  Strange.

The embedded test link you gave me did work.  It worked on my iPad, but I’m using chrome not Safari.

And I'm using Chrome on my iPhone, and it doesn't. Very strange.
