Please shsre what you learn.  I've been hit with adverts for a sonic device on FB but I don't trust it.  I'm interested in hearing from you about it.

Low-intensity shockwave therapy applied to ED has been progressively on the menu for some 15 years. The jury remains out.

There are a half dozen or more systematic meta-analysis reports that overlap in terms of the mainly same dozen or so clinical studies that are incorporated into evaluation as a collective. At this point I think it’s, well, try it if you have the resources. You can always self-administer the before / after questionnaires on function that can be found in the public domain, on top of subjective impressions of change.

With no current registered recruiting studies to be found, perhaps a kind of equilibrium has occurred, outcomes just promising enough for the clinical option to persist, equivocal enough to forestall urological abandonment. At worst, you take your best shock and it ends up consigned to boutique medicine limbo.

Of course also be wary of testimonials put forward by product entities. I also cannot comment on how the clinical literature translates to DIY home-use gadgets. Although clinical settings are using equipment, if consistent with published research, at a retail cost of $30,000+ 🤷🏼‍♂️

On a local all news radio station there are continues ads for 'acoustic wave therapy'.

I asked my urologist about it, he said the jury is still out on it, and his office does not currently endorse it.

I know my pelvis is tilted due to MVAs and bad sitting posture. Besides headaches etc, I'm also wondering if this has contributed to my erections not being as firm as they once were. Or deflating when it's time to put the condom on.

Of course the algorithms are trying to sell me on a variety of programs after I tried to research the issues of hypertonic pelvic floor muscles, or atrophied/weakened pelvic floor muscles.   I don't know if I'm too tense down there or not exercised. Should I do kegels or should I avoid them and get my muscles to relax?  I D K.

I found a clinic that offers sonic treatments both in Yokohama and Tokyo, so not too far.  But the cost is nearly 100,000 yen, a lot less than $30k, but still.

So until I can figure out how to get insurance to pay at least part, I've got to put that on hold.  I do have an appointment at Noir Massage in Tokyo.  Hopefully the therapist can work me down below and help me figure out the cause and the cure.
