Jon Ramsey the Best??

I'm planning a business trip to Boston later this month. From all the research, Jon Ramsey always shows up at the top of the list. But is he really the best? What's so great about him? Is he full of attitude? I would appreciate any comments from guys who have spend time with him.

I have never been able to hook up with Jon Ramsey because of scehdule conflicts. A while ago there was some discussion in the message center about Boston escorts. I remember Jon was described as a "Hobbit" by a contributor and John Stone, a favorite of mine, as "boring". I am very interested to see what comments may be contributed on the Boston scene.

I personally found him disappointing. I wanted kissing and to be topped. The kisses were dry and limited and he avoided the topping until the last few minutes of our session.

I saw Jon twice approximately 6 years ago, before he became so popular. At the time, I thought he was a 10 as far as looks go. He also appeared to be very friendly. However, I felt like it was all an act.(my opinion). As for whether he is really the best remains to be seen. In my humble opinion, he is full of attitude and things go well IF you praise him and his good looks. When he was with me, he was a clock watcher and answered his pager while we were "in action". Also was VERY limited in what he would do....(you'll have to discuss that with him in advance).

His recent pictures show that he still has those great looks and, as the other poster said, he now is very popular and his time appears to be booked way in advance. Again, all this is based on what transpired 6 years ago and he may have improved his modus operendi.

I've read that in Boston, someone named Jason is suppose to be really the top escort in Boston now. Go to the review section in Boston and look him up, as well as the others mentioned there. I haven't been with Jason so cannot give you first hand info on him.

All right. So I called Ramsey a hobbit. I'm 6'4" and I really didn't mind the height difference until he broke out into "We represent the Lolly Pop Kids." Just kidding, I've been with Talvin several times, that ain't the issue if they're hot enough, Ramsey just didn't do as much as I wanted. Stone I called boring and I stand by the big YAWN I place next to any rebuttal. I could get into particulars, but let's just say it was generally just a sad, sad comedy of errors. He seemed like a really, really nice guy. Where do they finish again?

I saw Jon twice. The first time was probably nine years ago or so and we had a great time. He was somewhat limited in what he would do at the time, but it was still a great experience. The second time was maybe three years ago and I never realised it was him until he recognised me at the door. I would not have recognised him... much more muscle, still a really nice guy--he has no attitude, somewhat bad skin but that is sometimes a passing problem. He had become too bulky for me however, we did OK but certainly no fireworks.

I've pretty much given up on hiring in Boston. The only guy I could recommend would be Todd (http://www.male4malescorts.com/reviews/toddgaiety.html and http://www.toddsbod.com I believe), who sometimes dances at the Gaiety in NYC and at Paradise in Cambridge. Great guy, great looks but no anal. He was living in Boston about a year ago, I've no idea is he's still around.

Or you just go to Paradise and pick up the dancer that you like best. :-)

I have to agree with those who found Jon Ramsey VERY disappointing. Nice guy, with a major league gorgeous body, but a bit cocky and definitely comes across as a condescending "know-it-all" on a variety of topics. And he is VERY limited in his activity. Won't really kiss and very limited orally. He would stop me if I tried safe activities like kissing to lecture me on their "dangers". In Cambridge on Mass Ave a little towards Harvard Square from MIT. Dance club (altho very small). They have strippers on the bar upstairs. No nudity. Generally gay for pay guys. Good luck.

Traveller calls John Stone boring and I would have to call Todd boring but GORGEOUS to look at. Very nice but no excitement at all sexually. I had a better time with him over a drink. Perhaps I just didn't turn him on although I have never seemed to have had that problem before. No anal at all and basically no kissing. Insisted on condoms for oral. i have been seeing jon for 6 or 7 years on a fairly regular basis for weekends. i usually book 6 months in advance to get the weekends i want. we have become good friends and the companionship is wonderful. no problem having him meet family and friends as my personal trainer (about a half dozen family members have personal trainers so it doesn't seem unusual). while the sex has been good with him, he is great just to be with and has helped me to come out a little; i am friendly with a number of gay men from the gym as they flocked to jon (the gym is a very family oriented place in the suburbs far from the gay part of town; in fact, the first thing you see on entering is the day care center).

jon is intelligent and well educated and for more than a "quickie" hire, those properties are important. his looks are all natural (2 hours plus in the gym a day) and he is totally drug free and does not smoke. he is very clean and healthy and limits some activities to stay that way. for people who like muscle, he should be great. not for twink lovers. i only say this if an escort's physical body is most important to you. when i hired my first escort 8 or 9 years ago, i was fixated on blond blue eyed guys. now for me, a guy's body is second to what is inside and how he treats me. it is strange that my favorite and regular guys are now almost all darker hair and brown eyed; i have learned to like them for themselves (jon, like most of these guys, still turn heads on entering a room).

Thanks very much for that perspective. A question, however, for all -- in what way does Jon "limit" his activites? I would intend to discuss my expectations before the actual meeting. Are you saying at that point you discover these "limitations" or are they discovered (and more unfortunately) during the actual session?

I am another of Jon's regulars. Jon has his limitations and is difficult to get hold of because he is so busy. I have always found him to be upfront on his limits. His site has pics that were taken in May-the color ones; the body is one of the best in the business. Jon has taken some of the criticism to heart, he no longer answers calls in a session. In New York he has multiple clients booked so he has to be a clock watcher, but I have found him to be pretty discrete about it. In Boston he has been more generous with his time. Jon does not deep kiss or bottom, if these are high on your lists of must haves, Jon will be the first to tell you to look elsewhere.

Please... I have no guarantees! But I've done that, yes. I'm sure it's not all the guys, but many will if you sweet talk them and tip generously... loads of singles first, then you ask them if they'll show it all for twenty or so. Why wouldn't they?

 

Re taking them home with you, it's difficult. Many of the dancers tend to live a long way from Cambridge; often, two dancers came in one car. But I have had a couple of successes :-)

Scudman's description of Jon is basically my experience with him only Scudman explained it much better. Jon's fans really praise and him and defend his limitations by rationalizing that it is the "safety" issue. Jon's "demeanor" is also excused as being the by-product of "a very busy schedule".

That being said, you've gotten a fairly acurate picture of what being with Jon is like. Some people just love it, others find it lacking. As for what he does and doesn't do, the last posting basically explained it...no anal, limited oral and very limited kissing. If you decide to go with him make sure that you have a CLEAR explanation of what he will and will not engage in.

Jon is not a bad person, he does try to satisfy his customers with his personality (well explained by Scudman) but obviously Scudman and I reached the same conclusion. He is very attractive...if only he wasn't so intent on telling you this.

I've got nothing to add to the Ramsey pro/con discussion. I just wanted to congratulate (and thank) everyone who's taken part in this thread so far for demonstrating what a grown-up exchange of information and opinion should be in this forum.

 

Someone asked a reasonable question, and in the course of a remarkably few replies, he now has a fully dimensional, in-depth account of what it would probably be like if he were to engage Jon Ramsey. (And along with it, a few solid suggestions for alternative fun.) All this, without 7,000-word essays, posturing, name-calling, tangential detours, and all the other abuses of free speech that too often get in the way of useful discussion here.

 

Reading a thread like this one reinforces my long-held opinion: that the Message Center, and not the Reviews, is the most valuable part of this site.

I agree completely with CZ. I posted the original comment. It was my first time initiating a post, and, frankly, I was a bit hesitant, based on the attacks and diatribes posters often encounter here. But I must say that I thoroughly appreciate the constructive comments, suggestions, and inputs I have received. They have been quite helpful in many respects. Thanks, guys!
