+ Lucky Posted Tuesday at 09:19 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:19 PM My husband has done something that turned his computer into black and white images only. I tried to figure out what he did, and went to various color buttons in settings, but nothing worked. Can anyone tell me how to return the computer to color? Black and white TV is out of fashion, and so should be black and white computers! Thanks
MikeBiDude Posted Tuesday at 09:47 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:47 PM @Lucky check the cable at both ends, sometimes if they are loose the monitor will only display black and white. + Lucky 1
RadioRob Posted Tuesday at 09:49 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:49 PM It sounds like the accessibility settings most likely got turned on accidentally. Try pressing Windows + Ctrl + C. You can also go to Settings > Ease of Access (or Accessibility) > Color filters and toggling it to the "off" position. MikeBiDude and + Lucky 2
+ Lucky Posted Wednesday at 01:49 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 01:49 AM I appreciate the suggestions by @MikeBiDude and @RadioRob. The one that worked for me was Radio Rob's 2d suggestion. Hubby very happy! Thanks! MikeBiDude and mike carey 1 1
+ poolboy48220 Posted Wednesday at 02:04 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:04 PM I run into oddball stuff like this every once in a while. It's usually some shortcut combination (like the Windows-Ctrl-C Radio Rob mentioned) that I hit by accident and have no idea that I've done so.
