Smartphone vs. PC for COM access

This post may be more oriented towards the Tech forum, but I thought it might get more exposure here.

Just recently I'm able to access the COM site as usual on my laptop, but no longer on my smartphone.  I'm puzzled because the user ID and login is exactly the same on both devices.

When attempting to log in on my smartphone I get the message "Something went wrong.  Please try again."

I've also tried to log in after disengaging the VPN app.

I get the something went wrong error message occasionally when logging in from my laptop. However, I just click on a tab at the top of the page and it takes me right in.

can you access the website without trying to logging in?...

Thank you for responding.  Yes, I can access the website, but I'm unable to log in to it.

Thank you for responding.  Nothing seems to work for me from my smartphone.  Access with my laptop is no problem (for the present.)   🤞

I'm thinking there is some glitch within my smartphone.  I just got it (S25 Ultra) dang it!

Have you tried using a different browser? You should have some different options like Chrome on top of the one on the home screen…

I only use a smartphone and that happens occasionally but I still get access as well when clicking the 3 horizontal bars top right corner.

Are you getting the 'existing user' prompt when logging in? I even occasionally get the error message when I login with the existing user prompt but still access the site. When logging in I only click ‘fill password’ without needing to complete the two fields.

Thank you for the tip  but I'm not getting that option with Edge.

I switched browser to Firefox and now I'm getting access.  I hope it lasts.

Thanks, I just switched to Firefox and I'm able to log into the site.

Just a final update:  I tinkered around with my VPN and Edge browser and now I'm back to using Edge like before.

Downside:  Just as I always do, I neglected to take notes whereby if/when this happens again, I'll be back at square one.  😡

Anyhow, a big thank you to you all for hanging in there with me.  👋

Not sure whether to post a sad face, or to laugh with you over the near inevitability of not remembering how one eventually solves a problem!
