Back on topic:  hmm, the report says that her initial run was “previously” sold out but doesn’t say how long ago that was.  Vegas is down a bit, but not that much.  I have to think that her die-hard fans jumped at the chance to see her, but there just aren’t that many die-hards out there.  True, she was super-popular, but it’s been a while.

The Smithsonian ones are.

But one of the most popular attractions is the International Spy Museum, which does have an entry fee.

Yes, it does say in my OP. The article I copied / pasted said: The iconic pop star and sister to the late Michael Jackson previously completed a sold-out, 10-day residency from December through January of this year at Resorts World. 

Again, they are certainly playing 'fast and loose' by calling her concert dates 'a residency'.  10 days doesn't make a residency - not even close.
