Shelley's creature was actually quite articulate. Karloff played him like a dope. Although I've never met the formidable Mr. Monroe, I suspect he falls somewhere in between. Of course I'm kidding Rick. It's quite obvious that you're at least as intelligent as Shelleys' beast, but you're pushing it with the Charlie reference.
