Warren Buffett said Saturday that he will recommend his time as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway come to an end this year.

 

He looked and sounded very frail during today’s presentation. I can understand why he is stepping down.  I will miss his folksy commentary and his annual letter to shareholders.

But he still could answer questions which definitely is amazing. He had a lot of wisdom and he has shown many of us over the last 50 years how astute he has been.

Let’s not go full fan-boy here. Buffett only started making headlines in the 90s - before then he was…unknown.  I will buy 35 years but not 50.  That is an over statement.

I'll tell you what I miss.  I miss my client who used to take me to the yearly shareholder circus in Omaha.

It was like a drunk, open-bar Costco on steroids.  

That city is a PARTY during that week.
