have not met him, but you may consider going to visit him first in NY for a couple- or three-hour meet to see if you get along......moderately risky to spend hundreds to bring an unknown to you and realize it's not going to work for one reason or another and you're stuck with him for another day or two

Like another poster said, you’re underestimating the cost by a whole lot. It will likely cost hundreds just to fly the guy roundtrip NYC to/from Chicago.  A weekend of an escort’s time will almost certainly be a few thousand dollars.  So, before committing to that large of an expenditure you’d be better served by coming to NYC and trying the guy out for a shorter period of time to make sure you’re compatible and there’s sufficient chemistry between the two of you to make an entire weekend enjoyable.

When it comes to weekends with escorts, sampling the goods is always the most sensible approach. WAY too much potential for unpleasant surprises otherwise.
