+ sniper Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I thought energy work was reiki where they don't actually even touch you, so beware.

DunwoodyGuy Posted March 25 Posted March 25 It's just in the headlines, not in the masseur's description. I may be wrong, but I believe MasseurFinder assigns those headlines arbitrarily when and a headline is not chosen by the individual masseur.

Masseurs have the option to pick from a canned dropdown list. “Massage Bliss”, by Simon or whatever bullshit titles. We don’t type them in, nor are they arbitrarily assigned. We have to pick one of the options they present to us. I’m over MF. As soon as Gay Wellness picks up enough steam, which could be quite a long while, I am dumping MF for good. + Vegas_Millennial and Quiet 1 1
Simon Suraci Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Energy is not the new erotic. Energy can incorporate erotic work but is not necessarily erotic by nature. Some masseurs stress energy exchange, healing energy, and so on, which often, but does not always involve direct contact, such as a reiki approach. Some masseurs do Taoist and tantric inspired bodywork, which for some helps them identify and release emotional blockages or open up their mind, body, and spirit through a physical-spiritual connection. And yes, sometimes that means massaging your taint and prostate and belly and pelvis in ways adjacent to and overlapping with traditional ideas about sexuality, sexual feelings, and sexual pleasure. The point is it’s not only about the latter. It’s focused on the spiritual aspects and how physical manifestations and manipulations can help you access the spiritual parts of yourself in a more profound way. Many of you will say it’s all bs and not care, which is fine. It’s not for you then. The right clients for those masseurs find them. They aren’t the right masseurs for every client, nor is every client a good fit for some of the more woo-woo oriented masseurs. Personally, I enjoy the energy exchange approach, and take this step a lunge more forward with some of my clients who are ready and willing to go there with me. Most absolutely are not. Still, there is an undeniable energy exchange at some level in all of my sessions. Enjoy the woo if you will, and if you won’t, whine to whoever else will wisten. + Summerson, + claym and la_connor 2 1
