Manhattan Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Just finished watching this limited series on Netflix. It's only four episodes but feels like twice that. They worked hard to make this work. Casting an unknown as the kid, shooting each episode as one continuous take, and making it about "male rage". Sadly, the kid is a bad actor, the filming is self-conscious, and the "male rage" isn't explored. I don't know what it's about. It's not a mystery about the crime, it's not about the mind of the accused, it's not about the victim, it's not about the family, or the town. Anyone know what it's supposed to be about?
