Unfortunately it had to be cancelled because some people proved unable to handle other people's differing viewpoints without getting nasty.  The same for any discussion that ventures into faith/religion topics.

I miss reading everyone's thoughts, but it devolved into something quite ugly at times.  I would have rather seen people get banned after a specific number of warnings for nastiness, rather than having that part of the forum shut down.  But I am not a moderator, to everyone's great relief, I'm sure.  Including my own - lol.

For DFW folks, @BigNoiseDallas is an incredible resource—always ready to share his experiences. He’s like an encyclopedia of knowledge about the local crew and many of the rotating visitors. Thanks @BigNoiseDallas!!

Loved this guy.  His posts were always a great read and insightful.   Does anyone know what happened to him?
