And if the fucking photo of the man with his son comes up, I did my fucking best to link the article without the photo so just fucking delete the thread without dinging my fucking account fucking again.  Thank you.

i thought religion was taboo. I once suggested that someone with a multitude of problems consider joining a church group and it was deleted before the ink could dry.

Gentlemen, this thread is fine. So far. It's about an article describing one family's journey that happens to have a religious theme attached. We can talk about the humanity involved or the article itself without venturing into any details about the rights and wrongs of the belief systems that prompted the father's self-reflection.

I found the most uplifting aspect of the story to be that sexual orientation and faith are not mutually exclusive matters, and that the father was able to both support his son and expand his own faith experience.  And to do so in a way that is benefitting a wider and more diverse demographic than before.
