moonlight Posted January 25 Posted January 25 What's a reasonable travel radius or drive time for outcalls? In other words, at what point should extra travel fees be offered (or requested) on top of normal outcall fee? I think NYC might be a different beast here. More curious about metros where driving around is the norm. Any thoughts?
Keenan Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Typically I say within 45 minutes to an hour but it depends on where you live. If I have to drive any over that I'll charge extra travel fee to help cover gas costs. moonlight 1
nate_sf Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Here in SF there will be some guys who will refuse to leave the city limits or the gayborhood, no matter what. That might also be the case in other places, even those that are more auto-oriented. I'd agree with @Keenan, 45 minutes would be the top end. For me, an hour would be pushing it. Around here that would equate to 20-30 miles. It also depends on the length of the appointment. I'll be willing to drive 45 minutes for a 2-hour or longer appointment without an extra travel fee, but not so with a one-hour appointment. moonlight and + Jamie21 1 1
