I am visiting in a couple of weeks. Hotel prices are insane. What about hiring? I remember paying 400 a couple of yrs ago.

Here's a thread from a few months ago asking about rates in New York City (NYC).  The question asked for a rate for 2 hours in NYC; however, lots of responses gave 1 hour rateas well as rate ranges for other major cities in the United States.

I reached out to 15 men in June 2024 on my RentMen "Buddy List" that live in New York City, all of them recommendations from experiences shared on Company of Men.

Here is how they responded:

$250/hr - 1 response

$300/hr - 5 responses

$350/hr - 4 responses

$400/hr - 3 responses

$500/hr - 1 response

All rates quoted were for outcalls, bareback sex, and rimming.

It's NYC.  Nothing is considered insane when it comes to price.

Even the shitty Mildew Plaza (né, The Row) was $200 back in the day.

Want cheaper, stay further from midtown.  If you can handle the boroughs, even better.

Little Italy/Chinatown always have deals on hotels.

That said, the closer to the LES you get, the worse it'll get.

Hotels are incredibly expensive there nowadays. I've wanted to do some weeklong or even monthlong stints there, but I can't get a hotel for that long. I'm looking for some clients I could possibly stay with while I work. We'll see.

I’m sure some arrangements can be made ;)

Similarly, I'm finding better and better hotel rates in Manhattan this year as well.  I like to visit late May or early June.   In 2018 the best I could find was a crammed 150sq ft Queen Room for $350/night in Hell's Kitchen.  In 2022 I paid $400/night for a better rooms in Tribeca and Midtown.  This year, I booked a 300sq ft King Room in Chelsea for under $250/night.

I even found good last minute hotel rates on Thanksgiving weekend.  I stayed in Chelsea at a new hotel (opened in 2024), with King Bed, for just around $300/night
