Ali Gator Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 If anyone is interested in watching a beautiful holiday concert, I highly recommend this concert which premiered on (my) PBS tonight. As PBS describes it: Handel’s 18th-century masterpiece “The Messiah” is reimagined and infused with Gospel, Jazz and R&B. Vanessa Haynes, backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, will blow you away. Sit back and enjoy ! Too Hot to Handel: The Gospel Messiah WWW.PBS.ORG Handel’s 18th-century masterpiece “The Messiah” is reimagined and infused with Gospel, Jazz and R&B. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the traditional classical Messiah by Handel. I've never been a fan of remakes. Marc in Calif 1

Beautifully done, and really added to the Christmas spirit. Change is nice sometimes. thomas and + sync 2
