Understandable!  Was the room mate at the apartment when you visited?  I would find that very awkward.

yeah, the roommate was in her bedroom - never saw her but heard her rustling around as i was leaving. wasn't super awkward or anything, but hadn't experienced something like that since college lol. 

FWIW i don't think he's based in NYC anymore so who knows what his current situation is

I got over that in college. I shared a room in my Frat. My roomie's g.f. slept over often and they'd fuck all the time with me sleeping in the bed nearby. A separate room wouldnt bother me in the least. Clearly his roommate knows whats going on, and doesn't care.
