viewing ownly Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 We see it all the time on Rent Men when we're looking for guys - those annoying ads of people who are on presently doing web cam with a one word description. I don't know who decides what to label them, but presume the web cam guy has a say. I never thought of a twink as a guy with a six-pack, hulking chest, and sizable arms. True that if a person who once upon a time was a twink and worked out relentlessly in the gym - a great many men do these days - they over time have lost twink status. If what they called a muscle stud not all that many years ago is now considered a twink, then what are young guys who have thin, muscle-less frames to be called now - non-existent? Even your stereotypical nerdy, hang out in the library all the time men take the time to have great looking physiques nowadays, it seems.
+ DrownedBoy Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Twinks evolve into twunks. That's what you call a "twink as a guy with a six-pack, hulking chest, and sizable arms." Where are you located (Chicago here)? I have no problem finding "skinny non-muscular twinks" online.

Probably because I stopped paying attention to labeling, and naming things, and adding things, and changing things, to the point that it's beyond ridiculous. I figure, I'll reach out if I like what I see, regardless of how the website organizes or categorizes them. However, I do see how in a website, it could be useful to use a term for searches. You can select or enter "twink", and certain type of men should come up. The problem is that just like with bears, there are muscle twinks, hairy twinks, young twinks, elderly twinks (ok, I made the last one up, I hope, maybe that's actually a thing), etc. We still have to further filter by body type. Probably you might have to qualify the term, not just use the term "twink". MikeBiDude 1

carolus Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Twink to me was and is a guy who is young-ish, slight and has a soft even feminine appearance. I guess a twink could have a six-pack but they don't usually have large muscles. Somebody like Troye Sivan would be the archetype, in my mind, of a twink EastbayMike and BeamerBikes 2
