Wow. I heard it was quite a wild movie theatre but I didn't know you could get away with THAT level of public sex.

Shut down by the city in the late 80's in their AIDS prevention purge.

I missed the fun. I arrived in the early 90s. ( maybe thankfully missing the HIV bullet ). I was quite wild in my 20s. although NYC had seemingly tempered it's naughtiness by then.

I was just too young to get in before they shut down.  Such a shame. I do have friends who are a few years older than me who went when they were underage and I'm kind of wishing I knew about it.  Oh well...

I went there through the seventies and mid-eighties.  The hottest porn theater sex ever!.  I could easily spend 12 hours there.  You could pretty much do anything anywhere.  I occasionally saw someone collect the trash and pay no attention to anything else.  I loved that you could wear hot trashy sexy gear, be partially nude or totally nude.  Much dirtier and sexier environment than bath houses.  Made some friends and met many lovers there also.  Being gay was hot, sexy and filthy and I cherish those times.
