No, nothing like that. He was very professional and did not push any type of agenda. I spelled out what I was looking for, one of which was not an interest in going all the way at this time. I meant the usual safety-first measures like don’t accept a drink from him or, if you have a drink already don’t let it out of your sight; meet him in a public space first, like your hotel lobby; it’s a good idea to casually mention that your friend/brother/whoever is in the next room; if he insists on bringing someone with him at the last minute, that can be a warning: and if you have any major flags when you meet him, just don’t go through with it. I’m sure there are many more safety precautions out there but these are the ones that come to mind and the ones that I have used on occasion. Not trying to scare you, ok? haha Just thinking this guy is “brand new” as you put it, and nobody on the forum can vouch for him. Then again, he could be amazing! Trust your gut and enjoy. At this time, nothing seems off to me (and I have had a few interactions in the past I walked away from after first contact). He seems to be all over the place at times. How much time in advance did you book with him? I was concerned about him flaking then I lose hotel $$ and travel time for nothing. He has been consistently polite, but we were supposed to meet the 7th and I never got a response/commitment from him even though he said the day was good, so I booked someone else.
